Dr Pervez would like to thank you for agreeing to help with our annual practice survey.

The survey was carried out between January and February 2013 and was available to patients who attended the surgery during this time. The practice handed out 150 surveys and 133 were returned during this period.

Question (1) How helpful do you find the receptionist at the surgery?

78 % of patients were satisfied with how very helpful they found the receptionist.

All our staff have been trained to provide a service to our patients, and treat them with the same respect they would like to be treated themselves. The practice was very pleased with how the patients found our receptionist’sapproach, and they will strive to continue their good work.

Question (2) Overall how would you rate the arrangements for getting to see your doctor?

37% Excellent and 53% Good

The practice aims to monitor the appointment system to ensure there are sufficient appointments during our busy periods. The practice is also looking into online appointments where patients will be able to book their own appointment at their convenience.

Question (4) How did you feel about how long you usually have to wait to be seen after you arrive at the surgery?

94% of patients agreed it was reasonable.

Overall the practice was very pleased with this result and will continue to ensure all clinics run on time.

Question (6) In the last 6 months, have you had enough support from the surgery to help you manage your long-term conditions.

42% Yes definitely and 26% Yes to some extent.

The practice is working to improve and maintain the best care for our Long Term Condition Patients with the help of the Integrated Care Team. Our aim is to prevent Accident and Emergency Admissions and provide the education patient’s need to prevent them being admitted into hospital...

Overall the practice was very pleased with the results, we found no significant areas of concern, but will continue to strive to improve our services to our patients.
