Legislative Section
- Locate the people who represent Mississippi in both the House of Representatives and Senate. Use the map of Mississippi provided to separate the different districts and label the district and representative that corresponds appropriately.
- Create a US Senate page with pictures of both members of the US Senate from Mississippi. Create a short biography about each senator. 1 paragraph for each Senator.
- Provide a list of the Speaker of the House, President of the Senate, President Pro Tem of the Senate, Majority and Minority Leaders of both the House of Representatives and Senate, all whips (minority and majority) of both the Senate and House of Representatives. List the state where each individual is from.
- Locate and include 1 current piece of legislation from the House of Representatives along with a 1 page summary of the bill.
- Locate and include 1 current piece of legislation from the Senate along with a 1 page summary of the bill.
Executive Section
- Provide a picture and brief biography consisting 1 paragraph of the current President of the United States.
- Provide a picture and brief biography consisting of 1 paragraph of the current Vice President of the United States.
- Create a list of the all the people comprised in the President of the United States’ cabinet and what specific job/title they have to carry out.
- Locate all the states that have had a president elected from that state. Create a key and title for this map.
- Locate and include the people and their title as to who would follow if something were to happen to the President of the United States. At least 5 levels.
Judicial Section
- Locate and list the Supreme Court Justices. Also provide when the Supreme Court listens to cases.
- Locate and include 1 Supreme Court Case. Provide a 1 page summary of the case and what amendment or part of the United States Constitution was under review by the Courts. Provide the justices who ruled on this matter and when it happened.
- Locate a current issue or case that is on the Supreme Court’s Docket. Provide a 1 page summary of the case.

Things to remember
- Put all information in order the way it is described.
- Divide the sections up and have a table of contents.
- Have a nice cover or title page!!
- Pictures, Court Cases, and Legislation can all be printed out.
- Don’t forget the paragraphs, summaries, and maps!!
- It can be stapled, put in a folder, etc.
