Wednesday— We’ll choose parts and read Act II scenes 1 and 2 in class.
Thursday— Read Scenes 3 and 4 in class.
Friday—Finish reading Act II In small groups, complete questions on page 778. Review for a quiz on Monday.
Vocabulary due March 17. Include an adjective clause in each sentence. Underline the vocab word and the clause.
1. vulgar adj indecent
Because of Jacob’s vulgar behavior, which included swearing at the grocery store clerk, his mom grounded him for two weeks.
The vulgar magazines that Jack had hidden in the garage were found by Father O’Malley while he was looking for a 3/8” socket.
2. badger verb to provoke, to taunt

3. frugal adj thrifty; cheap

4. ubiquitous adj everywhere; all over
The sombrero, which is a wide-brimmed hat used for sun protection, is ubiquitous in Mexico.
The foam rubber finger, which has become ubiquitous at sporting events, was used vulgarly by Miley Cyrus.
5. malign verb to speak badly of; to slander
The small town newspaper, that is printed by rednecks in Alabama always maligns President Obama.
After the last snowstorm, which left most of the roads in the city covered with bumpy ice, the mayor maligned the public works department for doing such a lousy job of plowing.
