Game Itinerary
4:45 p.m.Band room inredt-shirt and shorts/pants for under uniform; guard be fully dressed
4:55 p.m.Load the bus by seniority
5:00 p.m.Depart to Marengo
6:00 p.m.Arrive at MarengoHS(unload, warm-up, tune/Intonation Motivation/run-down show marking time)
6:30 p.m.March into the Stadium to a Cadence
6:50 p.m.Color Guard form Spirit Line with Cheerleaders
7:00 p.m.Kickoff – GO BIG RED!!!!
9:45 p.m.March out of stadium, head back to band room (use restroom before leaving)
10:00p.m.Depart to SCHS
11:00 p.m.Arriveat Band Room (instruments stay on trailer; help straighten up)
Winds/Percussion:
- Red band t-shirt, white shorts, black socks, band shoes, FULL Uniform (jacket, bibbers, gloves, shako hat, plume)
- Instrument; Music Folios; Lyre; String Bag; Seat Cushion
- Jewelry is NOT allowed. Girls may wear studs ONLY; guys are NOT allowed to wear earrings
- NO head gear of ANY kind is allowed. Girls’ hair must be pulled back and put up in shako hat.
Color Guard:
- FULL Uniform
- Makeup
- Flags and rifles (each guard member is responsible for their own flags and flag bag)
- String Bag; Seat Cushion
- Stand Poms
Reminders:
- Disrespect towards other bands in any way is absolutely unacceptable.
- Inter-Band relations will remain positive – compliment and encourage the members of other organizations at all times.
- Respect and appreciate the time and effort other bands have put forth into their program.
- YOU serve as a representative of Southern Choctaw High School. Polite and courteous behavior is a credit to the band organization, to the school, to the parents, and certainly yourselves.
- Absolutely NO cell phones in the stands. NO food or drink in the stands. Water will be provided for you in the stands.
- Stay in your spot in the stands, do not “visit” other sections, and do not swap instruments in the stands. Visit your friends and family during your 3rd quarter break. The band section is OFF LIMITS to everyone not in band.
- Those that show up ON TIME, dressed, will get a 3rd quarter break. Be back when 1:00 is left on the clock.
- SECTION LEADERS GROUP #1 will go when 4:00 are left in the 1st quarter to meet the band (in the case of an away game, wait until the other band comes over). You must be back at 0:00.
