National Standards and Best Practice Framework
The National Standards for Involving Volunteers in Not-for-Profit Organisations are Australia’s best practice roadmap for volunteering. This training will guide volunteer-involving organisations in implementing the Standards, which cover all aspects of volunteering.
It includes development and review of organisational policies and how to gain recognition and commitment to volunteering across the broader organisation.

Legal Issues and Requirements in Managing Volunteers

Support and Supervision of Volunteers

Recruitment and Retention of Volunteers
How can you compete in the increasingly tight market for volunteers? Or encourage people to volunteer more of their time?
What about recruiting Gen Y’s, volunteers from different cultures? And, once you’ve got them, what’s the key to making them want to stay?
With volunteering rates decreasing and people volunteering less time and with less flexibility, volunteer-involving organisations cannot afford to ignore these questions. This workshop provides usable strategies for finding volunteers – and keeping them.
