Gathering Hymn…………..Blessing and Honor……………#854
Blessing and honor and glory and pow'r,wisdom and
riches and strength evermore,be to the Lamb who our
battle has won,whose are the kingdom, the crown, and]
the throne;whose are the kingdom, the crown, and the
throne!
Let all the heavens sound forth Jesus' name;let all the
earth sing his glory and fame.Ocean and mountain,
stream, forest, and flow'recho his praises and tell of his
pow'r;echo his praises and tell of his pow'r.
Ever ascending the song and the joy,ever descending
the love from on high;blessing and honor and glory and
praise--this is the theme of the hymns that we raise;
this is the theme of the hymns that we raise.
Give we the glory and praise to the Lamb!Take we the
robe and the harp and the palm;sing we the song of the
Lamb who was slain,dying in weakness and rising to
reign;dying in weakness and rising to reign!
Greeting (Please rise as you are able)
P: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and
the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

Psalm…………..…………….…………..…………………....Psalm 30
1I will exalt you, O Lord, because you have lift- |ed me upand have not let my enemies triumph | over me.2O Lord my God, I cried | out to you,and you restored | me to health.3You brought me up, O Lord, | from the dead;
you restored my life as I was going down | to the grave4Sing praise to the Lord, | all you faithful;give thanks in ho- |ly remembrance.5God’s wrath is short; God’s favor | lasts a lifetime.Weeping spends the night, but joy comes | in the morning6While I felt se- | cure, I said,“I shall never | be disturbed7You, Lord, with your favor, made me as strong | as the mountains.”Then you hid your face, and I was | filled with fear.8I cried to | you, O Lord;
I pleaded with | my Lord, saying,9“What profit is there in my blood, if I go down | to the pit?Will the dust praise you or de- |clare your faithfulness?10Hear, O Lord, and have mer- |cy upon me;O Lord, | be my helper.”11You have turned my wailing | into dancing;you have put off my sackcloth and clothed | me with joy.12Therefore my heart sings to you | without ceasing;O Lord my God, I will give you | thanks forever.

Hymn of the Day…..Christ is Alive! Let Christians Sing…#389
Christ is alive! Let Christians sing. The cross stands
empty to the sky.Let streets and homes with praises
ring.Love, drowned in death, shall never die.
Christ is alive! No longer bound to distant years in
Palestine,but saving, healing, here and now,and
touchingev’ry place and time.
In ev’ry insult, rift, and war,where color, scorn, or
wealth divide,Christ suffers still, yet loves the more,
and lives, where even hope has died.
Women and men, in age and youth,can feel the Spirit,
hear the call, and find the way, the life, the truth,
revealed in Jesus, freed for all.
Christ is alive, and comes to bringgood news to this and
every age,till earth and sky and ocean ringwith joy, with
justice, love, and praise.

Lord, I lift your name on high; Lord, I love to sing your praises. I’m so glad you’re in my life, I’m so glad you came to save us. You came from heaven to earth to show the way, from the earth to the cross, my debt to pay, from the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky;
Lord, I lift your name on high.

God, whose almighty wordchaos and darkness heard
and took their flight:hear us, we humbly pray,and

be light.
