PASTORAL PRAYER AND THE LORD’S PRAYER Pg. 894
OFFERTORY PRAYER
All: Creator and Architect of the universe, we are so grateful that you were not content to be simply the God of the cosmos, but sought beyond that to be a God who could walk in our midst and feel our joy and pain. You came in Christ, whom the world rejected; but not letting that be the last word, you made the stone rejected by some the chief cornerstone in the building of your Kingdom. We pray that these gifts we give to you now will be used for that work of construction: a kingdom on earth that reflects your Kingdom of Heaven. In Christ's holy name, we pray. Amen.
