Minutes:
What was done in school at Christmas time:
Cheselbourne: Christmas lunch, Christmas fayre, went to panto
Frome Valley: Nativity play, carols by candle light
Milborne: Christmas lunch, Y4 nativity at the church, Christmas fayre and all classes performed a Christmas assembly.
Piddle Valley: Went carol singing, Christmas disco, Christmas party, Christmas lunch
Broadmayne: School play, school meal, Christmas fayre.
Puddletown: Christmas party, carol service.
St. Marys: School Disco, carol service, Operation Christmas child, Christmas concert.
Dasp 7C’s:
Cheselbourne: A charter in class with the 7C’s hanging down from a hoop on the ceiling. The caterpillars are up on the walls. People have become more aware of others because of them.
Frome Valley: Get a raffle ticket for being good. Get’s pulled out each week. Winner gets a prize.
Milborne: Which pupil is the best citizen at end of every term. Younger pupils do 2 at a time
Piddle Valley: Display in the hallway
Broadmayne: Competition
Puddletown: Stamps for all the things that you do. A book with things about people doing good things.
How is DASP citizen voted each year:
Cheselbourne: Whoever people think is the best citizen.
Frome Valley: Written on whiteboards and whoever has the most gets the award
Milborne: Vote for people who have been good citizens. They have to have a reason.
Piddle Valley: Vote in class between boy and girl.
Broadmayne: Picked out of a hat
Puddletown: A vote
St Marys: Chosen by teachers.
Recycling and 10:10:
Cheselbourne: Haven’t signed up yet
Frome Valley: Not signed up yet. Recycling
Milborne:
Piddle Valley: Signed up. Do lots of recycling, but need more compost bins. Had a visit from Thomas Hardye.
Broadmayne: Haven’t signed up yet
Puddletown:
St Marys: Recycling Paper, light monitors.
Community Cohesion:
Cheselbourne:

Milborne:
Piddle Valley: Going to try and link with children in France.
Broadmayne:
Puddletown: Met someone from Ghana.
St Marys: Link up with school in South Africa via Skype. Link with Coventry school for Y5’s.
