ENTRANCE AND ADMISSION POLICIES
Ticket Prices: All Sites
Adult/students without ASB $7.00
Students (with ASB) & Seniors (62+)$5.00
Pass Policy: Enter EAST entrance for: Coaches Association pass, Sea-King Lifetime pass, WIAA Lifetime pass
Gate List: Team/Coaches enter Pass Gate Entrance-Fax list to (425) 456 7630 by Feb 10th-Coaches keep copy
10 Adult Supervisors will be identified as such on the pass list for each school
*Names not on the list but placed on the list by the school AD in excess of the 10 allowed will be billed to the schools' ASB. Other faculty members must purchase tickets.
Press: Entrance at East gate, but must show proper press ID
Pre-Sale: None for general public, all tickets at the door. Doors open approximately 1 hr. before 1st game.
Cheerleaders: Of participating schools admitted onlyif in uniform (East entrance)
Band members: In uniformwith instrumentwith instructor (East entrance)
School Photographer: Letter of ID by principal for 2 school photographers-
Admission gains assigned floor privileges (East entrance)
Drill Team/Performing Group: In uniform, enter as per ID of advisor (East entrance);
NOTE: 4 min. maximum for each schools performance. Visiting team-1st; Home-2nd.

CONCESSIONS - Host schools & BC contracted to retain all profits.
SOLICITATIONS - Sales/Solicitations by schools or non-school organizations will not be allowed.
PROTEST PROCEDURE
The athletic directors of Kingco & Metro designees shall make up the Protest Committee (3).
1. Decisions involving the interpretation of a rule may be protested; however, a decision involving an official's judgment cannot be questioned.
2. A protest during a game situation must be announced to the officials working the game.
3. Any protest must be decided upon before the game is allowed tocontinue.
The Protest Committee should consult the coach(es) and officials involved as well as timers
and/or scorers, if deemed necessary. (SPECIAL NOTE): If a tournament manager is from a school that is participating, he/she will not be involved in the protest hearing.
Note--protests must be completed before next live ball situation!
SPORTSMANSHIP - FIGHTING POLICY
In effect at all tournament basketball games as per WIAA Handbook rules.
Appeals may be submitted to games committee comprised of league representatives.

PRE-GAME WARM UP
The teams will be permitted to warm up on the playing floor 15 min. prior to the start of each game. Do not cut through another team’s pre-game warmup. Teams playing in the first contest may get on the floor 30 min. before the assigned starting time. Teamsare to warm up at the BASKETopposite their assigned bench before their games. Players introduced pre-game should line up on the free throw line directly in front of their benches.
GAME PA ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. Only announcements relating to the tournament will be permitted.
2. Announcements must be approved by the Tournament Manager.
3. Coaches are to complete the PA announcer form and submit30 min prior to game time.
4. All regulation games- starters introduced only (alternate by team)
ANTHEM
Played or sung at first contest only each day by home team (if no band or performer is present, pledge of allegiance will be recited.)
OPENING CEREMONY - Championship Game only
An opening ceremony will be held just prior to the start of the championship game. A definite procedure will be followed for the introduction of players, coaches, and officials for each game of the play-off. The head coaches of the participating teams are asked toassume responsibility for carefully instructing their players: All team members will be introduced. Reserves will be introduced first, and when their name is called, they will go to the free-throw line nearest their bench; not the center of the floor. After both reserve teams are introduced, the starters will be introduced in an alternating manner (visitors first, home second, etc.) meeting at mid-court for handshakes. The game announcer will review procedures with coaches prior to start of the game. Make certain to turn in your announcers' roster to the PA 30 min. prior to your contest. The game officials will be introduced last and will step onto the court two paces in front of the scorers table. Players and coaches will then return to their team benches to wait for the playing of the National Anthem.
HALFTIME ENTERTAINMENT (10 minutes halftime for all play-off games)
1. All halftime entertainment must be approved in advance by the site manager. At BC, contact Pat McCarthy for arrangements. Schools will be responsible for bringing their own tape recorders, extension cords, etc.!
2. Soft soled shoes will be required of each participant.
3. Any entertainment must be completed and the floor cleaned with no less than 3 minutes remaining in the halftime period.
- Performing groups will be limited to 4 minutes of participation each for Boys and Girls Championship
game.
PROGRAMS
1. If available, tournament programs will be available in the lobby.
2. Team rosters will be available in the lobby. (Turn rosters into Pat McCarthy by Feb 9th--Fax # (425) 456-7630 or email .
CROWD REGULATIONS/SUPERVISION (Special notice for principals)
1. Artificial noisemakers will not be permitted in the gym (this includes cheerleaders' megaphones).
"Lung power" and unified cheering will contribute more to a better tournament.
2. No signs other than school banners will be permitted. NO BALLOONS!
3. Confetti will not be allowed in the gym facility. Schools may be charged for additional clean-up expense.
4. Spectators are to stay off the floor AT ALL TIMES!
5. Spectators should not stand for extended periods of time
6.Students are not to stand on their seats at any time

7. Duties of Supervisory Personnel: The principal of each participating school must assign one member as the head supervisory person for that student body rooting section. The principal must notify the tournament manager of the name of this supervisor when assigned. The head supervisor must
report to the tournament managers 30 minutes prior to the game time. The primary responsibility of the supervisor is to coordinate with game management in supervising the student body sections/crowd flow in/out of seats. Supervisors need to help keep their students out of seating area until the end of the previous game. Supervisors need to be visible and proactive.
8. Participating schools are to provide a list of names of supervisory personnel who will be in attendance at each game to the tournament managers (Submit list to Pat McCarthy before game time.)
- School supervisory personnel will be contacted immediately should any problem arise involving their
student's or their school.
10. Supervisory personnel will please enter via the East Pass Gate.
NOTE: Supervisors' names must be on gate list in order to enter.
- Supervisors are to "check-in" with site managers.
- Make certain to place an adult supervisor behind your team's bench if you are the visiting school.
IMPORTANT: The home team will also be responsible to place a supervisor behind the
visitors bench which is located in front of the home stands.
PARKING
1. No reserved parking will be available.
2. Bus parking will be available at BC front entrance.(East entrance)
SEATING
1. Special seating will be reserved for the teams, the press and participating bands.
2. All other seating areas will be on a first-come first-served basis in designated areas.
Lower level middle reserved for student section.
Designated Home Team and Designated Visitors Team

Supervisors,please, please help us remove spectators of the previous game for
the next assigned contest!
LOCKER ROOMS
- Locker rooms will be assigned upon arrival.
- "Pre-game" rooms for both teams are available. Site managers will assign.
- Halftime usage/after game - different locker room
- The locker rooms will be restricted to the participating team's coaches, players, managers, and other authorized personnel. Locker rooms are available for use 30 min before the first scheduled contest.
- Note: Bellevue College requires the no men are allowed in the girl’s locker room, and no women are allowed in the men’s locker room.
NOTE: Do not leave any valuables unlocked in the locker room!
VALUABLES
Teams will be responsible for their own valuables. Do not leave any valuables unlocked in the locker room.
TOWELS
Teams will need to provide their own towels.
OFFICIALS TABLE
No one will be allowed at the officials' table except the official timekeeper, scorekeeper, 30/35-second clock operator and the announcer.
Note: Supervisors, please keep traffic from flowing behind the officials' table.

TEAM BENCHES
- Team benches will be assigned with the home team to the left of the official's table and the visitors
to the right, facing the court.
- The team bench will be limited to the 12 players, managers, trainer, coaches and stats people as
verified by Head Coach.
BASKETBALLS-GAME BALLS
1. The game ball will be furnished by the home team.
2. Each team must provide their own basketballs for warm-up.
CHEERLEADERS
Are to locate in front of their respective crowd
Note: Cheerleaders are not to be behind opposing team bench or officials table.
BANDS
1. The seating location of each band will be designated by the site managers
2. Bands may not be on courtside until the previous game is over and other bands have cleared the area. Please locate in designated seating area before game.
3. Amplifiers may be used but the volume must be controlled (sole judgment rests with the Tournament Managers).
4. Band instruments are to be used for the playing of music under the direction of the conductor and not as noisemakers.
5. The band from the designated home teammay play the National Anthem prior to the first game each day.
6. Bands will sit in designated areas (see court diagram.)
7. Bands must abide by Metro, KingCo, and WIAA play-off guidelines; i.e.:
1) Amplifiers (if used) must be "turned down"
2) Play only during time outs, dead balls, between periods
3) Bands will alternate playing their music
PRESS
A limited number of press seats will be available near the scorers' bench.
One spot per paper will be set aside.
AWARDS
Boys and Girls District championship trophy will be presented immediately following each game.
PRACTICE SESSIONS
NO practice shall be allowed at the tournament site, unless you are a host site.
VIDEO/FILMING ARRANGEMENTS
ONE video tape person allowed per school.
Video tapers must be on pass list or be required to pay.
MEDICAL SERVICES
Emergency care only (by certified trainer).
Teams must provide their own tape and assist with taping!
SIGNS--Only one official school banner will be allowed!! No flags.
--No "hand made" signs will be allowed.
