EXECUTIVE REPORTS
President: When you come to the office to do your office hours, I have something you can do! I’m in the process of switching email addresses from an excel sheet to our hotmail contact sheet so we can send our mass emails. So, see me when you come to do your office hours! I am going to have someone come and talk about TANDA so we are more socially aware. I thought about having a meeting at Swick’s and playing laser tag there too! Let me know what you all think.
Vice President: None
Advisor: I have the laptop with me tonight, before you leave please log on and become a member on CampusLink.

SENATE REPORT/LIAISON REPORT
a. Senate Whip- We forwarded a resolution to the family of the students who were killed over Labor Day. We had a big argument about the word “god” being in the resolution. It comes down to that people don’t mind the word “god” if it is respecting the family. Thankfully, the resolution passed. We passed another resolution expressing what the students want out of the faculty. The Faculty Council meeting is this Thursday at 3:00pm.
b. City Council Liaison-None
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Civic Affairs: There is a bill in this committee. The Civic meeting will be held with Internal Affairs meetings which is Wednesday at 5:00pm
Internal Affairs: We have 2 new people and we are currently trying to fit more into interviews. Meeting this Wednesday at 5.
Renter’s Advisory Council: None
University: No bills yet
Vice-Chair: Parking- I had a big situation this past weekend with game day parking. The parking people did not post signs or anything of the sort to notify people to move their cars. They called and gave me 1 hour to move. This cannot happen every time; we need to do something about it.
Chair: I’ve said quite enough so far. Please try to be at the committee meeting so we can approve some people and get them in. I know we’re all busy, but get creative and think of some ideas. As of now, we are changing our meeting times to 6:00pm this semester. We thought this would be best since some people have classes. Someone needs to write up the suite application…we would have a great time! Let’s try and do that.

NEW BUSINESS
a. A motion to amend the OCSA agenda: Move the meeting time from 6:30pm to 6:00pm in order to accommodate the people with 6:45pm classes. Motion-PASSED
b. A motion to approve Senators Matt Setser, Justin Worley, Melinda M. Carter, and Nancy Rice- all APPROVED
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Preston- There will be an OCSA ad in the O’Colly every other Monday from now until the end of the semester. So far, I’ve only received two complaints regarding landlords, etc. Tell people to come to me with their problems! I am going to start meeting with the bigger apartment complexes and managements around town to get to know them better. There are lots of pizza cutters and pens down in the office, help yourself! We might be doing a “secret resident” thing with some complexes…more details coming soon. Everyone has a clean slate with me so far. There are ways to work with The Reserve.
INFORMAL DISCUSSION
Michael-check your mailboxes in the office, I put things in them.
