FIXED TERM POSITION OF…Scale A Classroom Teacher full time Permanent

The purpose of this position is to … teach a class of year 1-6 (YEAR LEVEL TO BE DETERMINED).

The work you will do is covered by the Primary Teachers, Collective Agreement that has been negotiated by NZEI Te Riu Roa and the Ministry of Education.

Job Title: Teacher Scale A / Fixed Term Teacher

Professional Level: Experienced Teacher

Responsible to: Principal.

(Direct supervision and support is the responsibility of your “supervisor” in the first instance.)

Primary Objectives

1.  To teach a class of year 1-6 (YEAR LEVEL TO BE DETERMINED).

2.  To achieve the professional standards as per the requirements of the Primary Teachers (including Assistant and Deputy Principals and other Unit Holders) Collective Employment Contract 2016 - 2018.

3.  To work with the Principal, Management Team, other staff and the school’s community in the spirit of the School’s Charter and the New Zealand Curriculum to provide the most effective possible educational environment for the benefit or our pupils in accordance with our “Mission Statement”.
