Easyjet offer the best flight times and a keen price of £273.5 per person including luggage and golf clubs. The flights leave Gatwick @ 11.45 on July 18, arriving 14.10 at Bordeaux and depart Bordeaux @ 17.10 on July 26, arriving 17.45 at Gatwick.
For hotels, Le Regina et du Golf provides a lovely mix of design, location and facilities. It is freshly renovated and overlooks the Atlantic on one side and Biarritz Golf Club on the other. It is 1km from the centre of the resort. Chateau Grand Barrail is a very elegant hotel in a wonderful location for Saint Emilion (2 miles away), it has a spa and a renowned restaurant and is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
Regina et du Golf
Regarding golf, Biarritz Le Phare, Seignosse and Chiberta are tip-top and are a fine mix of links and target golf. Golf on the east side of Bordeaux is not particularly strong so I am recommending Chateau des Vigiers and Pessac – both 45 minutes from the hotel. Incidentally, Chateau des Vigiers is a good golf hotel but Chateau Grand Barrail offers more for après-golf.
Seignosse
Food-wise, I know a couple of decent taps and gourmet restaurants in Biarritz and Grand Barrail and Hostellerie de Plaisance in Saint Emilion are both rather special.

Holidays with flights
We book flights for you via our preferred flight consolidator, JTA Travel. JTA was established in 1972 and their ATOL Bond is 4110. They only work with the trade and offer great experience and expertise in booking flights. Their prices to us and our clients include the ATOL booking fee so your monies are safe should they or the airline fail. JTA prices are particularly keen for long-haul and Premium. Business or First Class seats. For low-cost airlines and European routes, JTA can offer the seats at the public rate plus their booking fee of about £15 per person but they and we take care of all the flight booking details for you.
Holidays with hire cars
All our hire car prices include all the necessary insurance and, where stated, Super Damage Excess Waiver so you needn’t worry about paying an excess should you have an accident or damage the car.
We work with the highest-quality hire car providers at each destination and ensure that the vehicles and be picked up and dropped off at the airport terminal rather than a hire car depot some distance away. This all saves time and improves the enjoyment of your holiday.
Our destination partners
In some destinations, like Morocco, Egypt, Portugal and Turkey, we use Destination Management Companies (DMC). We choose the local experts and have worked with and known them all for several years. They offer the local knowledge and “rates for mates” and access to contracts that we pass on to you. They also look after you once you’ve arrived and will “Meet & Greet” you at the airport, provide useful tourist information and show you to your transfers or hire car. All this service is included in our prices to you.

Your holiday tickets
Your holiday tickets are emailed to you and include (if applicable) the Hotel and Tee-Time Vouchers, Travel tickets and Hire Car vouchers. The vouchers will include details of when we’ve paid the supplier as there’s nothing nicer than having all the information on your side. You’ll also receive (either before you leave for your holiday or via our on-site DMC) tourist information, restaurant lists and maps. For certain holidays, you’ll receive a Michelin map and tourist guide by post.
How to book
Once you like the itinerary and price we’ve offered, just give us a call or email us and let us know of any changes you want to make. We’ll ask you a few questions so that we get the detail right for you and then we’ll get cracking on the making the arrangements. We’ll keep you up to date and ask for a deposit of £50 per person or 10% of the holiday cost (whichever is greater) plus any payments we’ve had to make on your behalf i.e. a deposit to a hotel once the arrangements are in place and a Confirmation of Booking has been sent to you. We’ll also send you a link to your interactive itinerary through which you can involve your friends and make payments.
Holiday balances are due eight weeks before you so as that gives us plenty of time to finish paying the hotels and golf courses etc. Once that’s done, we’ll send you your tickets.

After your holiday, we’ll send you a Questionnaire and a copy of your Handicap Key (our long-running fidelity scheme for our clients). Our Past Clients are sent our new brochures every three or four months and these detail the latest offers and inside information on the best golfing holidays available.
