At our Annual Congregational Meeting Brian Beernink & Jeff Broetzmann were elected as Elders and Matt Arentsen & Jim Obbink were elected as Deacons. A special thank you to Elders, Jon Damkot & Lloyd DeRuyter and Deacons, Tom Bruggink & Jan Hoitink for their years of service on the consistory. Installation and Ordination of the new Elders & Deacons will be held in January.
The congregation expresses Christian sympathy to Don & Jean Schreurs on the death of Don’s brother, Myles Schreurs, on Thursday.
Cedar Grove Area Food Pantry update - Thanks to many generousdonations, 28 families were servedin December! The pantry will be open again on Thursday, January 12th from 4:30 to 6:30 PM at Faith Reformed Church (243 S 4th St, Cedar Grove). Also, a meal will be served for those who attend from 4:00-5:30. If you know of anyone who could benefit from the food pantry, please let them know about it. If anyone is interested in donating, right now we are especially low on paper products, cereal and canned fruit. (Please check the expiration dates on the food you donate.) Thank you!
Children’s Christmas Program – The program will be held next week Sunday, December 18th at 9:00a.m. Last practice will be held on Wednesday night, Dec. 14, from 4:45-5:45 with supper to follow. We will practice this morning during the Sunday School time.
Sunday School Offering goes to support our two compassion children. In November students donated $85 which exceeds our commitment by $5.00. In December, along with weekly collection, this will also be our collection at the Children’s Christmas Program next week.
Christmas Cards for our missionaries – Today is the last day to sign your greetings.
The choir will not be singing in December.

Our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be held on Thursday, December 24th at 7:00 p.m. A nursery will be provided for those with young children.
