Payment Plans

Please see Darren or Kata on registration day to discuss alternative payment arrangements, if full payment cannot be made on this day.

However, 50% of registration fees must be paid on registration day and the balance finalised before the commencement of the season or date agreed by the committee.

NO PLAYER WILL BE ABLE TO PLAY IN ANY OFFICIAL MATCHES

OR BE REGISTERED WITH THE FFV UNTIL FULL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.

Training Information

Training

Pre-season training will commence the week beginning Tues 7thFebruary 2017

Pre-season training will be held at: St George Preca Primary School. BECCA Way Caroline Springs VIC 3023

( Enterance via back of school between Peguin Child Care and Springside Kindergarten)

PLAYERS are to contact the coach or Team Manager if they are running late or unable to attend a training session or Game Day Match.

Should a player not attend training it is at the coach’s discretion whether or not the player is able to participate on Match Day.

Training Policy

All players must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

The club cannot be held responsible for players left unattended during or after training or on match days.

All players are expected to wear suitable sports attire for training.

Training in Bad Weather

Training will go ahead as scheduled unless you are notified by your Coach or Team Manager. It is at the Coaches discretion to shorten or cancel a session in the event of bad weather.

As a general rule, we do not cancel training or games unless we are notified by council to do so or the committee deem the conditions too dangerous.

Points of Contact

Team Managers

The position of Team Manager is there to assist the coach and perform all administrative and match day tasks. They will inform parents of the roles they are required to perform on match days.

NO SMOKING POLICY

It is prohibited to smoke within a 10 meter radius (about 2 car lengths) of the playing pitch/training ground at all organised underage sporting events.

Kitchen & Bar

Food and drink is available for purchase every Tuesday, Thursday and on Game Days.

Merchandise

Junior merchandise is available for purchase. Please see FSBFC committee members for products details.

First Aid

First aid officers, equipment and a defibrillator are available in the event of a medical emergency.

Fundraising & Events

To ensure a sustainable club, we encourage families to support and attend all fundraising events throughout the year. All money raised is invested back into the running of the FSBFC junior program.

Behaviour

Our hardworking committee members work on a volunteer basis. Aggressive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in player registration being cancelled.

Parent Roster

Parents are required to assist with various activities such as setting up & putting away goals, cones, referee matches, suppling oranges and lollies on match days.

Club Conditions

  • Registration Cancellation – Once the Club has lodged player registrations with the FFV, no refund requests will be accepted.
  • The Club reserves the right to withdraw any player that has not paid its registration fees. Players will not be allowed to train or play unless full registration fees are paid by specified dates, unless the Club agrees to other arrangements.
  • The Club reserves the right to suspend or expel any player or member for failing to abide by the Club’s rules, regulations and codes of behaviour as set out in the Parent’s Information Handbook.
  • The Club will add your provided email address to the FSBFC Website Newsletter
  • Your child will play in their proper age group eg. Child born in 2009 who is turning 8 years of age will play in Under 8’s.

Privacy

  • The Club is committed to the privacy of all its members. You have the right to access the personal information the Club holds concerning you or your child/children, and request correction of any errors.

Parent Declaration

  • We have read the Parent’s Information Handbook, which outlines all Club rules, regulations, codes of behaviour, and guidelines under which the Club is governed and agree to be bound by these.
  • We acknowledge that we understand where the insurance policy held by the Club with respect to medical and like expenses incurred as a result of injuries suffered by the players during the course of training and/or competition does not cover all of the medical and like expenses any shortfall in the cost of obtaining urgent and/or continuing medical treatment shall be borne by us.
  • We understand that players who have not paid the full registration fee may not be selected to play on game days.
  • We give permission to the Club to attend to any medical or emergency needs for our child/children, in the event that neither parent nor guardian is present and we as the parent/guardian agree to meet all resulting medical expenses.
  • We consent to the use of our child/children’s details including name and also images before, during or after the season for all promotional media.
  • We consent to our child/children’s contact details being made available to Club officials.
  • We acknowledge that soccer training and games is a contact sport and accordingly hold the Club harmless against all claims arising out of any injury, loss or damage suffered as a result of any player participating in any authorised Club soccer training or game.
  • We agree to reimburse the club for any loss or damage to Club equipment (this includes the playing strip) due to our or our child/children’s negligence.
  • We agree to volunteer/participate in duties, which will be allocated to us by the team manager.
  • As parents/guardians of the above named player(s), we hereby acknowledge that we have read, understood and accept the rules and conditions stated above and verify that all details on this form are true and correct.

Code of Conduct

  • The Code of Conduct set out below applies to all representatives of Fox Street Blues FC. This includes players, coaches, officials, parents / guardians/ spectators and friends.
  • We at Fox Street Blues FC believe everyone has the right to enjoy and participate in football. Everyone is to be treated fairly and respected at all times, without discrimination and within the spirit of fair play. Fox Street Blues FC promotes an environment free of any type of anti-social behavior.

Players

  • Players will at all times have good manners and be courteous to others whether at training, participating at games or representing the club in any way. Players are expected to fulfill their commitment to attend all games and training sessions held for their team and must inform their Coach or Manager if they are unable to attend.
  • Shin pads must be worn at all times when training or playing football.
  • Players will be provided with sport apparel. This apparel is YOUR responsibility and must be brought to all games. Should the apparel be lost or damaged, it is your responsibility to replace them to ensure each player in the team is appropriately attired. Failure to have the correct apparel will result in the player being excluded from playing in future games until the apparel is replaced. Please label all items clearly.
  • Play by the rules. Never argue with an official. If you disagree, have your Coach or Team Manager approach the official during a break, or after the match.
  • Control your temper. Verbal abuse of the committee, officials, sledging of other players or deliberately distracting and provoking an opponent are not acceptable or permitted behaviours in any sport.
  • Drink bottles are NOT to be shared between players at any time.
  • Be a good sport. Applaud all good plays whether they are made by your team or the opposition. Treat all participants in your sport as you like to be treated.
  • Cooperate with your Coach, Team Manager, teammates and opponents. Without them, there would be no competition.
  • Participate for your own enjoyment and benefit, not just to please parents and coaches.
  • Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion.
  • Bullying will not be tolerated

Coaches and Team Managers

  • Remember that young people participate for pleasure and winning is only part of the fun.
  • Ensure that all players have been picked up by their parents / guardians before leaving.
  • Ensure that all training equipment is returned.
  • Ensure that all changes of training venues, trials, external runs, are given prior permission by our committee.
  • Never ridicule or yell at a young player for making a mistake.
  • Be reasonable in your demands on player’s time, energy and enthusiasm.
  • Operate within the rules and spirit of your sport and teach your players to do the same.
  • Ensure that the time players spend with you is a positive experience. All young people are deserving of equal attention and opportunities.
  • Ensure that equipment and facilities meet safety standards and are appropriate for the age and ability of all players.
  • Display control, respect and professionalism to all involved with the sport. This includes opponents, coaches, officials, administrators, the media, parents and spectators. Encourage your players to do the same.
  • Show concern and caution toward sick and injured players. Follow the advice of a physician when determining whether an injured player is ready to recommence training or competition.
  • Obtain appropriate qualifications and keep up to date with the latest coaching practices and the principles of growth and development of young people.
  • Any physical contact with a young person should be appropriate to the situation and necessary for the player’s skill development.
  • Respect the rights, dignity and worth of every young person regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion.

Parents/Guardians/Spectators/Friends

  • Parents are required to help the club with activities such as game day duties and BBQs on training nights & game days. Parents will also be asked to support social functions and fund raising activities. A roster for game day duties will be distributed by team managers.
  • COACHING FROM THE SIDELINES WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
  • Players are to be dropped off and picked up from within the reserve only.
  • Parents are required to remain at the field for the duration of their child’s participation in training.
  • It’s imperative to stay behind the sideline during training at all times, parents/guardians cannot enter the playing field or around the sides during training.
  • Encourage children to participate and do not force them.
  • Focus on the child’s efforts and performance rather than winning or losing.
  • Encourage children to always play according to the rules and to settle disagreements without resorting to hostility or violence.
  • Never ridicule or yell at a child for making a mistake or losing a competition.
  • Remember that children learn best by example. Appreciate good performances and skillful plays by all participants.
  • Support all efforts to remove verbal and physical abuse from sporting activities.
  • Respect officials’ decisions and teach children to do likewise.
  • Show appreciation for volunteer coaches, officials and administrators. Without them, your child could not participate.
  • Respect the rights, dignity and worth of every young person regardless of their gender, ability, cultural background or religion.

Overview Code for All

  • Players, Coaches or Team Managers who are sent off for swearing or verbal abuse at a game will receive a further suspension or fine by the Club depending on the severity of the situation – NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • FSBFC has a disciplinary committee which consists of the club’s President and a minimum of one committee member.
  • Anyone who fails to abide by the Clubs Code of Conduct will be summonsed to appear before the clubs disciplinary committee. Failure to appear will result in the committee holding a meeting and finalising the issues at hand. Depending on the circumstances, a person or persons can be warned, fined, suspended or expelled from the club.
  • All grounds in the Brimbank Council areas are GLASS FREE.
  • We promote a safe car park area to ensure protection of family and children. Anyone who drives recklessly and/or dangerously will be asked to leave and police will be notified.
  • Changes and add-ons to this Code of Conduct can happen at any time as issues evolve and will be posted on our notice board.
