GRADING POLICY

Daily Grades: (Homework, Worksheets, Participation, Quizzes, Maps, etc…) 50%

Test Grades: (Test, Projects) 50%

SEMESTER EXAMS: 20%

CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT PLAN

1. You are considered TARDY if you are not in your seat when the bell BEGINS to sound.

2. NO GUM, CANDY, FOOD or DRINKS ARE ALLOWED IN CLASS.

3. The use of "GROOMING ITEMS" should be used outside of the room.

4. Your grades will consist of: being prepared for class with the appropriate supplies, quizzes,

participation, maps, following directions, table of contents, worksheets, questions/assessments

from the book, group work, projects and tests.

5. I will let you know as far in advance, as to when you will have a TEST.

6. You will keep a TABLE OF CONTENTS or an Assignment Sheet in your GOOGLE DRIVE.

This will consist of theassignment, the date it was assigned, the due date and the grade when it is returned to you.

8. Electronic devices/technology resources will be used in the class.

Cell Phones should be OFF and NOT in SIGHT or HEARD during class time.

Cell Phone infractions could consist of: a warning (instructed to turn off and put it away),

assigned Detention (before/after School or during Lunch), The Principal and/or Parents

may be contacted and the Electronic device may be confiscated and turned over to the

principal’s office.

9. The DISTRICT'S INTERNET/NETWORK/ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY will be strictly

enforced. This will include areas that I feel are "OFF LIMITS FOR THIS CLASS."

During Class time, the use of Electronic Devices should be for

“educational purposes ONLY.”

10. The policies and rules of this school and of the SCHOOL DISTRICT will be enforced.

11. The SIGNATURE SHEET ATTACHED should be PRINTED, SIGNED and RETURNED

within FIVE DAYS of receiving it. A daily grade will be given upon its return.
