LIST OF SCHOOLS SELECTED FOR INTRODUCING FINANCIAL MARKET MANAGEMENT DURING THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2007-2008 .

The Board had sent circular number 04/2007 dated 16/01/2007 in connection with introduction of Financial Market Management as a course under new stream. The list of selected schools for introducing Financial Market Management during the year 2007-2008 at +2 level is annexed as ANNEXURE ‘A’ (58 Schools)

1. AFFILIATION

As you are already aware FMM is different from conventional academic programme. The FMM will consist of three compulsory professional subjects each in classes XI & XII in addition to two academic electives one of which must be a language. Though not compulsory, the students offering this package may be advised to offer Functional English for language -1. For the second elective there are 3 optional academic subjects. They can choose any one subject of their choice to maintain the vertical mobility for pursuing higher studies. The students may further opt for an additional sixth subject which can either be a language or an academic elective or a professional subject . The details of syllabus and curriculum are already available in CBSE website.

You are requested to send Rs. 3000/- in the form of Bank Draft in favour of the Secretary, CBSE, Delhi as affiliation fee. If you wish to have affiliation for any other subject, you may send an additional amount of Rs. 1000/- each along with the list of subjects and teachers.

2. TRAINING OF TEACHERS

As this is a new course, the CBSE will arrange to provide training to Master Trainers (Teachers) through experts from industry on payment. All selected schools are requested to nominate two teachers for training. In the beginning the training will be imparted for teaching (Theory ) of two papers for class XI that is :

1.Accounting for Business I

2.Introduction to Financial Market I

The schools are required to remit Rs. 8880/- (Rupees eight thousand eight hundred eighty only) per teacher towards the training fees in the form of a bank draft payable to the Secretary, CBSE, Delhi along with the names, designation and qualification of the teachers who are to be imparted training.

3.TRAINING(PHASE-I)

All the selected schools teachers will be trained in a phased manner. The first training programme will be held in New Delhi from 16/04/2007-21/04/25007 (6 days). The list of selected schools for phase-I training is annexed as ANNEXURE ‘B’(30 Schools)

The training is being organized in collaboration with BLB Institute of Financial Market, Gulab Bhavan, 4th floor, 6, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Near ITO, New Delhi 110002. The training charges covers cost of tuitions, practical, course material and working lunch. The teachers have to arrange their own accommodation at Delhi during the training period. The Phase-II training programme for the selected schools will be intimated shortly.
