Job Title and Description:
Welders/Fabricators/Fitters/Automotive Electricians wanted for our fast-paced Welding Fabrication shop located in Sun Valley, Ca. Applicants will work on a variety of projects and may be periodically required to travel to various job sites in California and shifts may vary.
The primary function is to perform skilled fabrication work using mechanical and fabrication drawings, schematics, sketches, oral and written instructions. Performs welding of domex, hss, stainless steel and mild steel, light to medium fabrication and final assembly work included; but, not limited to mechanical assembly and component fabrication. Production subassembly and final assembly builds, custom orders and Engineering prototypes.
Must be familiar with the concepts, practices, and procedures to safely fabricate, manufacture and maintain capital equipment for industrial markets. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. This is a technical manufacturing position that involves collaborating with coworkers to deliver technology solutions based on our requirements.
Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM normally. Overtime may be required. Periodic travel is also a consideration.
Compensation:
Hourly rate varies with qualifications and certifications. The company also offers Medical and Dental insurance upon completion of probation. When over night travel is required, the company arranges and pays for your hotel,provides a mealper diem and travel pay at a flat rate.
Minimum Requirements:
Must know and execute SAFE working procedures at ALL times.
The ability to read a blueprint, set-up the details and weld them to the requirements.
Good attitude.

Works well under pressure and has a sense of humor.
Ideal Employee:
The "dream" employees for these positions would also be able to run a manual Mill and Lathe, perform simplistic wiring and various hydraulic repairs and installations.
