CHIEF OF THE GENERAL STAFF’S FRAUD POLICY STATEMENT
6. CGS has directed that the highest moral and ethical standards are to be maintained; fraud, theft, corruption, bribery and irregularity will not be tolerated. Commanders and line managers at all levels are responsible for detecting and deterring any wrongdoing. Any Military or civilian personnel who have a reasonable suspicion of fraud, theft, corruption, bribery or irregularity occurrence are to notify their chain of command immediately.
ARMY CADET FORCE POLICY – SMOKING
7. In order to continue to promote positive behaviour to young people and to discourage smoking within the ACF:
a. No individual is to smoke while in uniform in view of the general public,
when engaged in any activity with cadets or when travelling in public.
b. Adult volunteers are permitted to smoke, providing that they do not smoke
where they can be seen by cadets and smoke only in designated areas.
c. Cadets are not permitted to smoke while on any cadet activity.
Discipline of individuals (cadets and adult volunteers) failing to comply with this policy is a
matter for the Comdt.
DRESS REGULATIONS FOR THE ACF – HAIR
8. Males. Hair is to be well cut and trimmed, except where authority has been granted otherwise on religious grounds. Style and colour (if not natural) is not to be of an exaggerated nature. Moustaches are to be trimmed and not below the line of the lower lip. Beards and whiskers may be worn only with authority, and this will usually be granted only on medical or religious grounds, or where tradition permits. The appearance of the beard and whiskers is to be neat and tidy. Sideburns are not to descend below the midpoint of the ear and are to be trimmed horizontally.
9. Females. Hair is to be neat and worn above the collar. Combs, grips etc if worn, are to be plain and similar in colour to the hair. A hair net, (if worn) is to be of the same colour as the hair. The style and colour (if not natural) of the hair is not to be of an exaggerated nature.
