Knowledge Translation and Exchange Short Course

The Knowledge Translation and Exchange Short Course presented by the Deeble Institute, the Australian Healthcare and Hospitals Association (AHHA) and the University of Western Australia’s School of Population Health is designed to assist academic researchers make their work more accessible and useful to policy makers and the media. The course combines theory with a strong practical focus, providing participants with training on the fundamentals of writing for, and communicating with,health leaders, policy makers and the mainstream and social media. Practical sessions will include translating a piece of the participant’s own research into a policy backgrounder and undertaking a media interview with an experienced journalist.
