Secretary’s report was read and accepted.

President’s Report:

  • Election Day Candy Bar Sales 6 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Christmas Tree/Wreath Flyers
  • Volunteering – how do we connect with those who aren’t responding to emails and FB?
  • Open Chair Positions for various Fundraisers
  • Grad Night Venue was contacted and secured
  • 10% nights – Dug Out at Rec Plex(John Sawchuck) will donate 33% of sales on Thursday, November 9th; Fresca’s will donate 10% of sales on Thursday, November 16th from 4 – closing.
  • 2019 Fundraising effort – pre-Project Grad still continues to do fundraisers – maybe next year’s class should consider restructuring BAPG so it starts Freshman year so senior parents don’t have to do so much volunteering during their child’s senior year and you don’t have to work against other classes stepping up and doing fundraisers at the same time.

Treasurer’s Report read and accepted.

  • All commission in for Rentschler Games
  • United Way Payroll Contributions
  • Parent Contributions: $1800
  • Expenses include Sleigh bell Fair table fee; Tree/Wreath flyers; Munson’s Chocolates.

UCONN Concessions Update (Carolynne)

  • Rentschler Games are done.
  • Gampel games began on Sunday, November 5th. Added a grill that guarantees at least $100 in profit per game so if we make $64, UCONN adds an additional $36.

Major Fundraisers Chairs:

  • Business Letter Solicitation- Sandy Clark and Sheryl Scheidel – need to work on this now.
  • Munson’s Candy Bar Sales – ongoing – Election Day and Sleigh bell fair
  • Sleigh Bell Fair – Carol Burke
  • Carol will reach out to people to get them to work the Sleigh bell fair instead of sending out an email for volunteers.
  • Carol will send Sheryl a list of goodies needed and she’ll set up a google doc to send out to senior parents requesting help.
  • Wreaths/Tree Fundraiser – Kristin Sullivan
  • Kristin ordered the trees and wreaths from Scott’s Tree Farm in Andover. Wreaths will need to be picked up prior to November 27th.
  • She’ll need help picking up the trees on Friday, December 1st prior to Sleigh bell Fair.
  • She’ll reach out to Krista Kardys who said she would help us make the bows for the wreaths. We need 70 bows.
  • Jen Gatesman who stocks the school store will look for “bling” and “ribbon” that we can use to decorate the wreaths.
  • Decorating wreaths will occur at Carolynne’s house on 36 Foxridge Drive from 6 – 8 PM on Monday, November 27th. Bring your glue gun and sticks and an appetizer or dessert to share if you’d like.

  • Restaurant Sales (10% promotion nights) –Carolynne, Inga, Suzanne.

  • Student Fundraisers – Car clings? “Anything is Poss18ble” – need volunteer
  • Amazon Smile – ongoing
  • Trivia Night – need volunteer
  • Comedy Night – need volunteer
