HOT POTATO CHALLENGE!!!

This is probably the best challenge I have ever done in my business…I love it! It was started by ENVP Linda Parker & wait until you see the magic it will create in your business. Here’s how it works:

You will be randomly placed on a team of 3 people & whichever team gets the most bookings in a 48 hours period WINS….a little competition, surprise gifts & some major bragging rights! Now the specifics:

1)Email me by Wednesday, May 11that NOON CST if you want to be included on a team…INCLUDE how you want your team to contact you (cell #,, etc). If you aren’t going to really participate don’t email me because you have a team relying on you & you will let others down.I will then email you who is on your team & their contact info, who is the team leader & who has the potato first.

2)Watch your email to get your team assignment by Thursday, AugustMay 12th 4pm CST.

3)You will have the potato until you book 3 presentations, 2 must be group presentations or “get togethers”, 1 can be a pick-up date or sponsoring one on one, etc.

4)Why do people book now? Because if their event holds their name will be entered in the drawing to WIN $100 VISA Giftcard. Feel free to offer your own special for booking with you by the end of this challenge!

Some suggestions:

  1. $100 or $200 in FREE products with 5 people in attendance
  2. FREE travel set with 5 people in attendance
  3. Your team of 3 could each pitch in $35 towards a Tiffany’s bracelet for the winner of your own team’s hostesses….up to your team what you do.
  4. I would add in FREE sea salt scrub or RE9 body set for a guest list within 3 days of booking their date. (as getting the guest list is the toughest part)

5)As soon as you get your 3 appointments you pass the potato to your next teammate. This continues to cycle until the 48 hours is up.

6)The team with the most bookings in the 48 hrs will win a gift from me….THEN the second part of the challenge begins…holding the most bookings as a team. If you have someone cancel you can replace it with another party or booking. The team that holds the most will get the Designer PURSE.

7)The team leader will email me all of your team’s bookings by Wednesday the 26th at noon CST.

8)All bookings MUST be for May 16th through June 30ththere will be NO exceptions!!

9)To make the most of this, each team members should be making their calls even before you get the potato, so when you get the potato you can pass it on immediately to the next person.

10)The 48 hours will start Friday, 13th at 8am CST & will end on Sunday,May 15that 8am CST. So work on getting your lists together now!!

11)Verbiage to use: “Hi ______this is Lynn Puana. (pause) Remember you had mentioned wanting to help me build my business by hosting an Arbonne “get together”. Well, I am so glad you haven’t previously booked a party because my team is having a competition of who can book the most parties in 48 hours. If you give me a date to have your party in September, your name will be included in my team’s raffle for $100 VISA GIFTCARD, plus you will get free gifts from me & 80% off on any products you want to order at your party.” (pause) wait to hear their response… If they don’t take on the party idea, then…….”I understand, but would you be interested in setting up a time to try our products in the privacy of your own home?”

Verbiage for someone who is already using products: Hi ______, this is Lynn Puana (pause) I was just calling to tell you about a great way for you to get your Arbonne products that you already love at 80% off plus MORE. My team is having a competition of who can book the most appointments in the next 45 days. If you give me a date between now & June 30th to have a party, your name will be included in the raffle for a either $100 VISA GIFTCARD, plus you will get free gifts from me & 80% off on any products you want to order at your party. (pause for their response) If they don’t take on the party idea, then….”I understand, but would you be interested in setting up a time to try & sample our botanically based make-up?”

When they say “YES”…get their date while you have them on the phone, there is a sense of urgency because of the challenge. Then let them know in order to win the raffle their party must hold and they need to have their guest list with at least 15 people to you within 3 days of booking their party.

If they don’t bite then close by saying: “I understand….do you mind if I ask you one more question?”
