AMGTV Program Submission Requirements

AMGTV is a 24/7 provider of programming. Our affiliated stations and cable casters carry AMGTV up to 24 hours per day. We currently supply programming to over 150 stations, several cable outlets and stations in the Continental US, as well as cable outlets and broadcasters in the Caribbean.

The focus of our programming is general entertainment. We look for new content on an on going basis Favorite genres include movies, health and fitness, cooking shows, travel, sports, adventure, outdoor, documentaries, children’s FCC e/i programming and music. Our goal is to provide programming for the entire family. The demographic varies throughout the day and reflects both the daypart and genre.

AMGTV airs several movies per day. AM movies include the classics, variety and made for TV movies. PM movies include drama, adventure, horror and more adult movies.

Important Considerations:

  • AMGTV covers 25 to 64 million households. The number shifts throughout the day and the full time equivalent in approximately 34 million TV households.
  • Closed Captioned programming is a must for many stations. The Full Power stations must follow FCC guidelines. If a show is not closed captioned it will not be picked up by some stations.
  • Producers are responsible for ASCAP and BMI fees and assessments, as well as Errors and Omissions Insurance. Documentation is required.
  • Carriage reports are not provided. If your show requires tracking it can be encoded. This service can be provided by a third party source that is not associated with AMGTV. A reporting agency will use Nielsen data which can be calculated over the course of 13 weeks. We can direct you to a third party source or you can subscribe to Nielsen or the reporting agency of your choice. This is not a service provided by AMGTV.
  • Producers are responsible for their own sponsors, advertisers and revenue development.
  • Shipping shows to our facility is the responsibility of the program provider. AMGTV will keep the library during the life of the agreement. Return shipping is the responsibility of the program provider.
  • The AMGTV feed is a C Band Digital feed. Content providers may notuse the feed without a license agreement from AMGTV. Using our feed without a written agreement will result in termination of carriage.
