2015-2016 Alumni Advisory Board
Overview
Objective:
The College Advising Corps Alumni Advisory Board will support the growth and development of alumni programming and outreach at the local, regional, and national level.
College Advising Corps staff will support the growth and development of this board.
Responsibilities:
● Serve a one (1) year term from September 1st, 2015 to August 31st, 2016.
● Provide suggestions and feedback on alumni related initiatives, services, programs, and opportunities.
● Contribute to the College Advising Corps Alumni Newsletter and other alumni related publications.
● Assist with the development and promotion of alumni-adviser relations.
● Plan and host at least one (1) alumni networking event in your region.
● Assist with the organization and implementation of alumni related events and initiatives.
● Serve as a point person for the College Advising Corps alumni network in your region.
● Attend monthly Alumni Board meetings via conference call, Skype, or Google Hangout.
● Devote approximately 3-5 hours per month to Board related preparation, meetings and initiatives.
Qualifications:
● By September 1st, 2015, applicant must have completed a minimum one (1) year term as a College Advising Corps adviser; preference will be given to those who served two (2) years.
● Experience working full-time (any sector), in graduate school, and/or in other volunteer or public service roles.
