Zion Heights Grade 7 Program
Dear Grade 7 Parent or Guardian:
As part of the regular academic program, your son or daughter will have the opportunity to participate in a Toronto District School Board Outdoor Education Program at Mono Cliffs Outdoor Education Centre.
October 21 to 23 -7B, I, J and G will be attending.
October 23 to 25 – 7A and C will be attending.
The programs at Mono Cliffs are directly linked to the Ontario Curriculum that students are studying in their city classroom. At Mono Cliffs the in-school curriculum comes alive with direct, hands-on experiences immersed in a natural environment. Learning is given a deep relevance and it is always fun and engaging.
The cost of the program is $75.00 per student. This includes accommodations, meals, and programming during your child’s stay. Please make a cheque payable to Zion Heights Junior High School.
Please fill out the following forms that your child was given on September 18th:
1. A Parent/Guardian Permission for Excursion Form
2. Medical Information Form – this includes special dietary needs
3. Agreement to Participate Form
These forms along with the cheque must be filled out and sent back to school with your child no later than Wednesday September 25, 2013.
