An outdoor dinner party that celebrates our most valuable resource: children!

We look forward to your participation in Vashti Center’s 2nd annual Dinner On The Bricks! Please share this event information with your friends! A special shout out to the City of Thomasville for making it possible for our community to gather in historic downtown Thomasville for this celebration!

  • Dinner On The Bricks is a fun-filled evening that brings our community together to support children served by Vashti who are in need of hope and restoration.
  • Date and time: Saturday, September 26, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Event location: On the bricks of Jackson Street, between Madison and Stevens Streets.
  • The event location will be closed to traffic and parking beginning at 4 p.m.
  • Event Information: Support children at Vashti by purchasing your table for just $300. Included in your purchase are a 60-inch round table, a tablecloth (knee-length), and chairs. Everything else for your dinner party is up to you! We highly encourage you to be creative with your table décor and let your palette decide whether you bring your own dinner or hire your favorite caterer. Tables go on sale August 3rd, and our goal is to sell 100 tables! Imagination is key and costumes are welcome. Awards in categories for Most Elegant, Most Original, and Best All Around will be awarded. Please see photos from last year’s event on our website and Facebook pages for ideas and inspiration!

  • Tables will be set up in the event area. You will find your table by referring to the map that will be posted at the at the registration table on Jackson Street across from Bacchus.
  • Volunteers will be on site to guide caterers and patrons to and from off-loading areas. Please see map for designated off-loading area.
  • Judging for various prize categories will take place between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Table winners will be announced at 8:30 p.m. Winners will receive their awards and have their pictures taken.
  • Beer and wine will be available for purchase in the event area only. Important: NO ALCOHOL MAY BE BROUGHT INTO THE EVENT. Please click on the Code of Conduct link and read our event guidelines as specified by the City of Thomasville. All patrons must adhere to these guidelines to participate in Dinner On The Bricks.
  • Refunds for table cancellations will not be given. If the event is cancelled due to inclement weather, the Vashti Center will send you written acknowledgement of your tax-deductible donation. Vashti is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.
  • Notices of any changes due to weather will be posted prior to the event on Vashti’sFacebook page and on Vashti’s website
