A regular meeting of the Bracken County Fiscal Court was held Wednesday,
March 28, 2018, for the purpose of transacting any business properly presented by the established agenda.

Present: Carl Allen, Clark Hennessey,David Kelsch, David Hughes, Scotty Lippert,John Corlis, Doug Smith & Dennis Jefferson.

Upon Motion of John Corlis, seconded by David Kelsch that the court approve the minutes of the Regular meeting on March 14, 2018.

Roads & Projects Updates

Judge Bush advised that he received the State Emergency Funds for Grover’s Run project. Dover Road project is on hold & will be discussed at their meeting next month.

Casa Report -Shanda Hamilton Director

Mrs. Hamilton, Director for Casa gave a report on cases and volunteers in Bracken County. Bracken County currently has 4 volunteers and there were 13 abuse/neglect cases in the county. There were no questions for Mrs. Hamilton.

Bids T Rail/Piling & installation/clean-up

Upon Motion of Dennis Jefferson, seconded by David Hughes that the Bid for T Rail & Piling be awarded to Progress Rail for $7.25/LF. All bids shown below.

Vote being unanimous

Upon Motion of Carl Allen, seconded by Doug Smith that the bid for installation/clean up for the T Rail be awarded to Pettit Wood Products for $9.00/LF. They also included a bid of $125.00/hr for a track hoe that may be used for digging out slip areas if and as needed.

Bracken County Jail Budget 2018-2019

Upon Motion of David Kelsch, seconded by Scotty Lippert that the Jail Budget be accepted/approved.

Interlocal agreement with City Augusta for the pool $150,000

Upon Motion of John Corlis and seconded by Doug Smith that the magistrates give County Judge Executive, Earl Bush permission to sign the agreement when completed. This will allow the project to move forward.

Bracken County Clerk 2017 Annual settlement

Upon Motion of Doug Smith, seconded by John Corlis that the court accept the County Clerk Annual 2017 Settlement.

General Fund Vendor Claims

Upon Motion of Clark Hennessey, seconded by Scotty Lippert that the following General Fund Vendor Claims be approved for payment.

Road Fund Vendor Claims

Upon Motion of Dennis Jefferson, seconded by Doug Smith that the following Road Fund Vendor Claims be approved for payment.

Jail Fund Vendor Claims

Upon Motion of John Corlis, seconded by David Keslch that the following Jail Fund Vendor Claims be approved for payment.

Dispatch/911 Fund Vendor Claims

Upon motion of Scotty Lippert, seconded by Dennis Jefferson that the following Dispatch/911 Fund Vendor Claims be approved for payment.

*Judge Bush announced the Extension Office Farmer’s Breakfast tomorrow at 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.

*Judge Bush announced the Easter Brunch, Senior Citizen’s Building Friday @ 10:30 a.m.
