Brought on board to consolidate and stream line APQP and Program Management practices following the acquisition of Raymond group with Ringplus Aqua & Trinity Forging in 2013. Managed multiple projects from conceptualization to launch, spearheaded complex process projects for key OEMs and non-auto customers such as BMW and BOSCH, UK, with particular emphasis, on design, testing, manufacturing and process control activities. Key activities entail development and management of budgets, training, planning and control, interfacing with staff and client during project life-cycle and meeting project timelines and delivery dates. Saved over INR 30 lakhs in resource and process cost by outsourcing forging activity for development

Inherited no of projects which were in jeopardy of being lost due to insufficient feasibility reviews. Through series of actions, team subsequently delivered outstanding project that was completed on time and met customer expectations.

Created and implemented reporting formats and review mechanisms, that increased efficiency, accelerated customer satisfaction and slashed error rates.

Key player in developing Nashik unit to meet VDA 6.3 Quality norms for newly acquired Ring plus Aqua. Participated in TS audits for internal assessment. Completed 3 Audits with minimal non-compliances.

Key planner and coordinator for equipment re-location project and plant load capacity increase from 1200KVA to 2500KVA to accommodate smooth transfer and minimal loss in production

Acted as the key supporting function in streamlining tool purchase planning and vendor negotiations.

A key member in root cause analysis and rectification project for recurring hardness variation issues resulting in rejections in the in-house heat treatment facility using Statistical sampling, cause effect diagrams, pareto analysis, ultimately mitigating the risk of losing a INR2.3 Cr annual project volume.

Responsible for managing 4-wheel drive axle development. Managed 3 complete project lifecycle spanning 8-12 months each for relocation program from USA to India for JOHN DEERE, with a total project value of INR 3 Cr., maintaining a stringent target defined EBIT, ROI, Material and Labour costs, through the 5 stage gates and consistent quality using Dana Operating System standards and Right First time KPIs. The major emphasis was to coordinate with global teams and customers spread across 4 international locations for technical reviews, design, testing, and vendor management. Worked under demanding milestones, steering a team of 35 staff members, vendors, spread across the globe and locally, exceeding expectations.

Key analyzer in identifying the risk of a certain axle program in gear contact pattern mismatch due to wrong assembly design leading to ultimate failure of program and mitigating a loss of around INR 80 million.

Developed and streamlined final axle painting supplier at a nearer location, thus leading to risk mitigation of damage due to transportation and a cumulative saving of around INR 10-15 million annually, using a decision tree technique and conducting an EMV (expected monetary value analysis)

Managed all gate closures with a keen eye on stakeholder agreement on all major deliverables and sign-offs leading to a comprehensive project document and smooth launch.
