Women in Insurance Network

A Networking and CLE Workshop

WHAT?We are soliciting panel proposals for the 2013 ABA Section of Litigation Women in Insurance Network (WIN): A Networking and CLEWorkshop. Full consideration will be given to proposals offering timely and well-developed topics. Panels showcasing well-known and/or in-house speakers and audience interaction are favored.

WHO?Suggestions for moderators and speakers are appreciated. Robust presentations should showcase a variety of industry perspectives, ethnically diverse speakers, and known quantities as well as fresh faces. In-house and industry participation on panels is strongly encouraged and such panels will be favored in the selection process.

Speakers are expected to cover their own expense, including travel, housing and registration. Registration fees may be waived for speakers who are judges, full-time academics, government attorneys, public interest law attorneys, in-house counsel and other in-house representatives.

WHEN?The workshop will be held on October 15, 2013.Proposals will be accepted beginning now and continuing through May 17.

WHERE?The workshop will be held at the Chicago offices of Jenner & Block, 330 N. Wabash Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60611.

PLEASE NOTE: Even if a proposed topic is accepted, panel content and speakers may be modified. For instance, panel topics may be modified to combine content from similar proposals. In addition, panel speakers may be modified to achieve speaker diversity and a balance of industry perspectives (in-house insurer and policyholder representatives, brokers, attorneys).Speakers should not be confirmed until panel proposals are accepted and finalized.
