Dear OLV Families,

Saturday was the PTA sponsored Big Hero 6 Movie Night. Congratulations to the Galvan Family who won the 4 tickets to Disneyland. All raffle profits are assisting Student Government in sending someone to leadership camp this summer. In addition, congratulations to Sophia Boyce, Isabella Berumen, Joshua Ramos, Paul Zakowski, May Nicole Cagulada, Katie Gomez, Alana Grospe, Hector Gutierrez, and Alondra Ramos who all won gift cards to Baskin Robbins for their entries in the “My Hero is…” contest. Thank you to PTA and all parents who volunteered in making Movie Night a success.

Thank you for supporting the World’s Finest Chocolate Sale. Please be sure to turn in the money to the office as soon as possible so it can be credited towards your fundraising. There are still some boxes available for families that may want to continue selling. With the $1,750 received from the Westfield Topanga Earning for Learning Program, we were able to purchase some DVD players and 4 iPads and accessories to be used in class to further enhance the education of the children, as well as various office supplies. Once again, thank you for all the support in submitting your receipts.

Queridas Familias de OLV,

El sábado fue noche de película “Big Hero 6” patrocinado por PTA. Felicidades a la familia Galvan que ganó 4 boletos para Disneyland. Todas las ganancias de la rifa están ayudando el gobierno estudiantil en enviar a alguien a un campamento de liderazgo este verano. Además, felicitaciones a Sophia Boyce, Isabella Berumen, Joshua Ramos, Paul Zakowski, May Nicole Cagulada, Katie Gomez, Alana Grospe, Hector Gutierrez, y Alondra Ramos que ganaron tarjetas de regalo a Baskin Robbins por sus entradas en el concurso de quien es su héroe. Gracias al PTA y todos los padres que ofrecieron su tiempo para hacer la noche de película un éxito.

Gracias por apoyar la venta de “World’s Finest Chocolate”. Por favor, asegúrese de entregar el dinero a la oficina tan pronto como sea posible para que pueda acreditar su cuenta de recaudación de fondos. Todavía hay algunas cajas disponibles para las familias que quieran seguir vendiendo. Con el $ 1,750 que recibimos del Programa de Westfield Topanga, Earning for Learning, pudimos comprar algunos reproductores de DVD y 4 iPads y accesorios para que sean utilizados en clase para mejorar la educación de los niños.
