AikenCounty students with equitable learning opportunities in the high school setting. These opportunities will be provided through the use of unique, diverse, flexible and productive teaching methods focused on improving their academic development, and promoting artistic growth with an education in the performing arts.

Tiffany Moore Palmer

Mrs. Palmer had the honor of training at the Alvin

AileyAmericanDanceCenter and the S.C. Governors’ School of the Arts. Mrs. Palmer is the director of the Ascension Praise Dancers at Friendship Baptist Church of Aiken. She has taught dance in the K- 12 system and choreographed for a variety of groups. As owner and instructor of TotalPraiseDanceAcademy, Mrs. Palmer is excited to share the Gospel of

Christ through movement!

Minister Sandra Robinson

Minister Robinson is a licensed Minister of Dance

and she is currently the leader of the South Carolina T.E.N. (The Eagles Network), a Christian Dance Education Network. Minister Robinson is the Director of the Dance and Mime Ministry at Mt.Trans- figuration BaptistChurch. Minister Robinson is an anointed woman of God who has a strong desire to minister and teach others to "praise God with the

dance"!

Reverend Lester A. Smalls

Reverend Smalls is Pastor of Bell Grove Baptist

Church. As local recording artist and General Manager of 94.7 WAAW radio station, Reverend Smalls is uniquely qualified to speak on music as it relates to Christian dance. Pastor Smalls is also the Editor-In- Chief of The Informer Newspaper.

Minister Juanethea Lord

Minister Lord is a God fearing woman who has an-

answered the call to clothe Ministers of Dance. She is the Owner of Virtue Praise Wear, a company dedicated to providing garments for praise dancers across the United States. Minister Lord has a strong passion for preaching, teaching, and living the Word of God!

We are going to wake you up with praise, worship and

Ballet/Contemporary

Participants will learn traditional Ballet and Contemporary

warm-up movements that can be implemented in

Holy Hip-Hop

Participants will learn how to move body parts in isolation to create movements that are not suggestive and

able to be performed in Christian Worship settings.

Sign Language II

Participants will turn hand movements learned in Sign

Language I class into interpretive dance movement culminating into a ministry worthy routine.

Face Painting

Participants will learn face painting techniques to en-

hance dramatic ministry. Due to the need for materials, there will be an additional $10 fee assessed. Each partici-

pant will receive a face painting starter kit.

Music and Attire

Participants will learn what God has ordained in terms

of attire for dance ministers and musical accompani-

ment to dance ministry. You will discuss issues of copy-

right and where to find music, and garments, in this

Concert Information

The Gospel of Dance Concert is an

opportunity for individuals and/or groups to showcase choreographic

works for the Lord. Due to time

constraints, only the first 10 acts to sign-up will be allowed to minister. Workshop participants are admit-

ted free. For all other attendees,

there will be $3.00 admittance fee.
