IFC Minutes 8/22
This was a more informal meeting…minutes will not follow the normal agenda format
President:
The NKU IFC listserv will be limited to only IFC officers and delegates. This will reduce the confusion and unnecessary contact within the list, as well as making it easier to manage. It is imperative that each fraternity have delegates present at the meetings to get info. Fines will be imposed from now on for chapters who do not send delegates to the meetings.
Mike will also set up an IFC Executive Board mailing list as soon as possible.
IFC meetings will become more formal and organized in the future. The goal is to improve the effectiveness of IFC by reorganizing the listserv, keeping careful minutes of every meeting. Meetings will have a proper agenda, and assigned officer seating. IFC plans to take over guest lists for parties and to handle most of the administrative duties of Greek Life. This will take some of the work off of Kim Vance and also help increase the presence of IFC in fraternity life. IFC Bylaws are in the works and will be discussed soon.
VP – Membership:
Rush Rules have been worked out in the Rush committee and will be ready for final changes next week. Jeremy also has flyers to hand out to everyone to post around campus. Jeremy will work on recruiting men for Rush, but he will not mention anything about a specific chapter – only that men should come out for Rush.

Rush schedules are due in triplicate to Mark, Jeremy and Kim by Friday, September 1st at noon. Any changes to the schedules must be approved in advance and also emailed to Mark, Jeremy and Kim. There will be no exceptions this year – IFC will be checking each party and there may be fines assessed for chapters who do not register their Rush events.
Next Monday, UNV101 scavenger hunts are starting. Tiffany Mayse wants IFC men to come and talk about fraternity life in general and to plug Rush coming up soon. The following times were open and assigned to IFC members:

All meetings will be in UC10.
