  4. Update on the CMAST project
  5. UM: IGBD 34 and 35 updated. Smart sync is delayed - client data tables didn't align with server.
  6. NFRC has done some testing. Added functionality: Select all, framing product line separate selection.
  7. LD: Did anything get faster?
  8. UM: Yes.
  9. Discuss approved CMAST algorithm improvement
  10. UM: Business case is written, documentation ready. Ready to go, in due time - nothing until the end of the year.
  11. Condensation Resistance implementation (on hold until C.R. gets standardized)
  12. Frame component deactivation (G. McKenna & J. Padgett)
  13. JP: Some documentation completed. Only builders can delete stuff that's in Design - lives on the client side. Each client sees something different.
  14. Could add a column for who built it, then I'd know who to contact.
  15. LD: There are orphaned "Redesign" items, there's no way to get them out. There are lots of frame parts that are approved but that we aren't supposed to use, e.g. full frame of window wall. Somebody needs access to delete or hide it.
  16. JP: Redesign means it was rejected and has to be resubmitted.
  17. UM: Send us what you want to see.
  18. GK: In billing, what are we being charged for, for Design mode?
  19. JP: I can't see anything in Design status on the web. You are billed for everything except: components for validation, voluntary terminations, and revoked/susponded. A component only has one status so it's not billed twice.
  20. MT: But it has a different ID; in CMAST's mind it's a different component. They are charged double if they pulled it down.
  21. JP: You can import and delete.
  22. LD: This is a big problem. If you share it with five people, NFRC bills five times.
  23. JP: Then it's even more important that I be able to see everything.
  24. MT: Only the original builder should be able to submit it.
  25. JP: Only simulators can push it up.
  26. MT: Only the original submitter with the THERM file should be able to. I had problems as both simulator and ACE. Different people can't collaborate.
  27. JP: Now I understand.
  28. GK: Why are we getting charged for Design components. They can't be used for certificates.
  29. LD: There needs to be a bin or sandbox.
  30. RM: We could restrict Design from going into Certificates or Bid Reports ?
  31. LD: What about a new status "temp" or "test" where I can design but not make labels.
  32. UM: That would be significant work, would impact schedule. The bid report work is coming up, could implement Ray's suggestion - after Smart Sync.
  33. GK: Only approved components should be billed.
  34. LD: The Bid Report is misused enough as it is.
  35. RM: OK we could restrict Design components from going into Certificates or Bid Reports, and then not charge for Design components.
  36. Supplemental Information Change Request – modifications to begin after Smart Sync – This becomes part of 3a now.
  37. Use of the term actual size in CMAST and corresponding NFRC documents – This becomes part of 3a now.
  38. Establishment of CMAST Performance Benchmarks – This becomes part of 3a now.
  39. CMA CPD – when items should be removed from the CPD (705, Section 4.2.D) [Waiting for time limit as decided by 705 TG]

  41. NFRC 100, section 5.9.2 Ballot from Spring 2013
  42. RM: This was to line up CMAST with the documents, or line up the documents with CMAST. Added Storefront to to Table 4-3, change some of the notes.
  43. LD: Is the swinging door with frame right? Width and height different in CMAST than in the table. CMAST gives 1000x2000 instead of 960x2090.
  44. RM: Jen please do a ticket to fix that.
  45. JP: Do we know what product type is the swinging door?
  46. LD: EDSL. and the double door is DDFR.
