PRESIDENTS TALK President Caron reminded us again of the upcoming District Conference and accepted parcels of food for the food collection there. She also mentioned that the District is running a program for students who write essays about the 4 Way Test with prizes that will be given out at the event. Prizes will be $400.00, $300.00, $200.00 and $100.00. Entrants have a deadline of 5-26-11 to enter. The info has been given to the high school GC who said she will give it to the English Department.
She passed around a signup sheet for the Memorial Day flag planting on the graves of our Vets on Memorial Day. This is usually a quick and very rewarding job that we do annually. We will gather at 8 a.m. at ST. Mary’s Cemetery across from the Charlton Street School. It is our way of showing we have not forgotten their sacrifice.
SPEAKER Today’s speaker was a no show.
