Mike Baldwin – Manager, Remittance Processing and Bill Delivery, Southern California Gas Company, San Diego Gas & Electric

Mike Baldwin has 24 years experience in the payments and bill print environment in various supervisory and managerial roles for both SoCalGas and SDG&E. SoCalGas customer base is 5.3 million natural gas customers and SDG&E’s base is 1.2 million gas and electric customers.

Mike is currently responsible for all payment operations (lockbox, electronic, and Branch Offices) and all bill presentment (paper and paperless) operations for both utilities. His department processes over 37 million mailed payments, 23 million electronic payments and 9.5 million walk-in payments per year. His department also prints and mails 80 million bills, notices and letters per year and sends over 12 million electronic paperless bills. Paperless bill percentages are 14% at SoCalGas and 22% at SDG&E.

Mike has a BA in Business Management with a minor in Economics from Pepperdine University.
