RE: 2013 RECERTIFICATION

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT ALL REFEREES, ASSIGNORS, INSTRUCTORS, AND ASSESSORS ARE REQUIRED TO PASS RISK MANAGEMENT BEFORE BEING RECERTIFIED. EXCEPTION: THOSE WHO HAVE NOT REACHED THEIR EIGHTEENTH BIRTHDAY AT TIME OF RECERTIFICATION. THE PROCEDURE IS AS FOLLOWS:

Log on to the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association web site – - and click on to RISK MANAGEMENT which will be found in yellow along the top. Follow the procedures which are self explanatory. You should eventually receive three responses. Response 1 will thank you for registering. Response 2 will state that you have successfully created an account with ENYYSA. Response 3 will state whether you are eligible [pass] or there is problem. DO NOT LOSE THESE RESPONSES since they must be presented with your registration form at your local recertification clinic. REMEMBER: NO ACCEPTABLE RESPONSE 3 – NO RECERTIFICATION

You only have to do this ONCE for however many positions you hold – coach / referee / instructor / assessor / assignor/indoor-futsal referee. If you did this as a COACH and/or REFEREE and it is less than two years and you still have Response 3, you do not have to do it again.

Please DO NOT fear this procedure. Less than TEN {10} Referees have been declared ineligible.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURES:

Log on to the Eastern New York Referee website – - . There our web master, will have listed all our Recertification Sites and Dates throughout Eastern New York. The fee structure, which includes your registration, medical insurance, administrative fees, etc. is as follows:

REFEREE: GRADE 9 - $45. GRADE 8 - $45. GRADE 7 - $50. GRADES 5-6 - $125. GRADES 3-4 - $150.

GRADES 1-2 - $105. GRADES 13-14 - $80. GRADES 15-16 - $80.

REMEMBER: THESE FEES DO NOT INCLUDE LOCAL ASSOCIATION OR FACILITY FEES – EXCEPT FOR GRADES 3-4-5-6 WHICH INCLUDES FACILITY FEE AND LUNCH AT THE RECERTIFICATION CENTER.

ALL STATE LEVEL [GRADES 5 & 6] AND GRADE 7 REFEREES DESIRING TO UPGRADE MUST ATTEND THE RECERTIFICATION CLINIC ON SATURDAY, 11 AUGUST 2012.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT GRADE 4 OR 3 OR 2 OR 1 WILL REGISTER DIRECTLY WITH THE UNITED STATES SOCCER FEDERATION. You will receive procedures directly from the FEDERATION.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THOSE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER MUST INCLUDE AN ADDITIONAL $8.00 IN ORDER TO COVER THE COSTS OF RISK MANAGEMENT.

THOSE REFEREES WHO DO NOT RECERTIFY PRIOR TO 01 JANUARY 2013, WILL BE CHARGED A $25.00 SURCHARGE.

ALL FEES LISTED ARE THOSE SET BY THE UNITED STATES SOCCER FEDERATION AND INCLUDE FOR THE 2013 REGISTRATION ONLY AN ENY SURCHARGE OF $5.

ASSIGNORS: GRADE 8 - $15.

ASSESSORS: GRADE 9 - $45. GRADE 7 - $50. GRADE 5 - $80. GRADE 3 - $105.

INSTRUCTORS: GRADES 9-11 - $45. GRADE 7 - $50. GRADE 5 - $80 GRADE 3 - $105

FUTSAL/INDOOR REFEREE: GRADE 8 - $50.

ALSO, PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE ONLY PLACE YOU WILL RECEIVE YOUR 2013 USSF BADGE AND LAWS OF THE GAME IS AT A RECERTIFICATION CENTER. ONLY A MEMBER OF THE REFEREE COUNCIL CAN EXCUSE YOU FROM ATTENDING A RECERTIFICATION CLINIC.
