April 19, 2104

I have really done it this time. Mr. Nonose asked all the kids for their homework in class today and yours truly forgot to save it on the computer. I tried the old excuse, “My dog must have eaten it,” but he really did not believe me since I do not have a dog and since all our work is done on computers. After all, how could a dog eat a computer? So, Mr. Nonose asks me, “Where is this work of art you have been talking about for the whole week? I have been waiting to see it.” Okay, I have been bragging about what a super job I had done on this project. It is a study on humans in the 1990s and I compare them to our society today. They had these gas-guzzling, carbon monoxide-emitting, slow-as-a-snail cars that they would drive around in. Now we have sleek, energy-efficient pods. Just get in, program it, and you are off – that is all there is to it. So, anyway, back to Mr. Nonose. I had to tell him, “You will have to wait a little bit longer because I did not save it and I will have to rewrite my whole paper.” I am getting sleepy. I think I will have to go to the replicator and get a snack before I enter my humble bubble. There is usually something good to eat. I hope Mom does not catch me. Good night!
