Responsible To:Sports Development Manager/ School Sport Development Manager
Liaison With:Local Authority Officers, Local Sport Alliance Members, Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport, School Sport and Physical Activity Networksand other local delivery agencies.
Job Purpose:
- To support the delivery of the following work areas:
- Community Development
- Physical Activity & Health
- Sports Participation
- Volunteering in Sport
- School Sport
- To assist specific projects, programmes and initiatives to be delivered by localities on time and on budget, including contributing towards key targets/outputs.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Community Engagement and Insight
- Support the development of needs led, targeted provision focussing on underrepresented groups e.g. Women and Girls, BAME communities, Inactive.
- Support with the collection of data and insight to shape programme delivery.
Physical Activity and Health
- Support the Locality and School Sport and Physical Activity Network (SSPAN) to deliver sport and physical activity programmes.
Volunteering / Workforce Development
- Support with volunteer recruitment, training and management
Other
- Any other tasks appropriate with the nature and grading of the post that may be assigned by the Locality or Leicester-Shire and Rutland Sport.

Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent level 6 qualification.
(Graduated in the past two academic years - 2015/16 or 2016/17). / / Doc/App
