Course Description
This is the first year of a two-year sequence in the IB History curriculum. This class is a fast paced, intensive exploration of 20th Century World History in which events serve as case studies of IB topics. Topics covered include the causes, practices and effects of war and the rise and rule of single party states. An option for focused study is chosen from the following topics: 1) Peacemaking, Peacekeeping and International Relations, 2) the Arab-Israeli Conflict, or 3) Communism /'n Crisis.
