Accepted the retirement request of Kay Graham, Tri-Valley High School English Instructor, effective at the end of the 2006-07 school year. Mrs.Graham has 30 years of teaching in the T.V. District.
Accepted the retirement request of Janis Gustke, Jefferson Elementary Teacher, effective October 25, 2007. Ms. Gustke has 30 years of service in the T.V. District.
Accepted the retirement request of Electa George, Adamsville
Teacher, effective June 1, 2007. Mrs. George has 30 years of teaching,
28 with the T.V. District.
Accepted the resignation of Casey Coffey, middle school assistant
principal, effective at the beginning of the 07-08 contract year.
Approved the recommendation of two year administrative contracts
from August 1, 2007 to July 31, 2009 to the following:

Approved a contract for the remainder of the 06-07 school year and the 07-08
School year to Matt Bible as a volunteer band assistant – specifically drum-line.
Superintendent’s Report:
Approved all Professional Leave Requests.
Approvedthe “Bullying and Other Forms of Aggressive Behavior” policy.
Discussednew gym track plans and future course of action.
Held a discussion of the board resolution supporting “Getting It Right” school
funding constitutional amendment.
Approvedconsent of district to the amendment to agreement for
construction management services– this is the district’s responsibility
for the L.F.I. sections of the project.
Granted approval of L.F.I. revised – post-bid amounts.
Approved all workshops.
Reviewed the presentation of the district’s safety plan.
Held a discussion concerning OGT and graduation ceremony requirements.
Approved the 7th & 8th grade band trip to King’s Island on Saturday, May 5, 2007. School busses will be used for transportation. Students and chaperones
will be responsible for their own expenses.
Approved a new special education assistant position – effective March 9, 2007.
Granted approval to extend the current contract with Coke for an additional
five years.
Approved technology bids resolution as recommended by Turner Construction.
