The RMA form is only for return of Lewabrane RO elements to Lanxess for evaluation of standard properties. The RMA form is not to be used for notice of warranty claims. Any notification for a warranty-related claim should be emailed tothe appropriate Lanxess sales professional handling your account. The Lanxess sales professional will advise you regarding the necessity for the return of Lewabrane RO elements for warranty evaluation.
RMA form instructions:
The information below must be filled out as complete as possible. An email requesting RMA confirmation number must be sent .
After receipt of RMA confirmation number by email, the Lewabrane RO element(s) must be properly prepared for shipment (see Section 9 and 10).
The element must be shipped Delivered Duty Paid (INCOTERMS: DDP).

- Preparation for shipment:
- Flush gently for 10 minutes with water in the pH range6-8, preferably with softened water or RO permeate. RO elements filled with cleaning solutions, or high/low pH solutions are inappropriate for shipment.
- Store the element vertically for at least 30 min for water drainage.
- Pack in PE bag, make sure that the plastic bag does not leak.
- Place the element in a suitable cardboard box, preferably original Lewabrane package, to prevent mechanical damage of the element during the transportation.
- The RMA number must be visible on the face of the packaging.
- The packaging must be labelled appropriately, and an appropriate AWB (Air Way Bill) must be available in order to track the shipment.

The client is responsible for all shipping charges, including custom clearance of the returned material, otherwise LANXESS will refuse to accept the delivery
If the element is not received within 60 days after generation of RMA number, the case will be closed and the customerwill be notified.
In the case where a warranty claim has been accepted by Lanxess, theapplicable freight fees will be credited to the customer.
No goods will be returned to the customer unless the appropriate freight charges (INCOTERMS: DDP) are prepaidin advance by the customer
