¨ Assisted in the conversion of a MS Access real estate database application to a MS Visual Basic application ultimately using MS SQL Server.
¨ Contracted with previous employer, Rainbow Technologies, to make their manufacturing database a MS SQL Server Windows program. This required data transformation, knowledge of db design and stored procedures, and presentation of the data to users within the company, as well as worldwide.
¨ Wrote database management applications to convert files from DOS based Clipper format to Delphi’s GUI environment.
¨ Contracted with Rainbow Technologies to perform software source control conversion from PVCS system to Microsoft Source Safe.
¨ Performed requested tasks similar to previous assignment at Rainbow.
Software Engineer, Rainbow Technologies Inc. August 1993 - March 1997
¨ Wrote the interface code connecting company’s software security products (dongles) and independent software vendor’s native code.
¨ Created DLLs using Visual C++ to access company’s device drivers and hardware configurations.
¨ The coding interface demanded a broad knowledge of numerous platforms, OS’s and applications.
¨ Acquiring and using most recent release of very many software development tools and languages, such as MS Visual C++, Inprise C++, AutoCAD, Codewarrior, etc., was a requirement.

¨ Structured, generated and maintained company’s aircraft parts supply database that included both data and graphics formats.
¨ Wrote Medical Office Management Software (MOMS) for small to medium sized medical offices to manage billing and electronic claims processing with insurance providers.
¨ Wrote numeric control (NC) test-bed software for major defense contractor customers in the Southern California area.
