The Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2016 apply

(see also notes on Classes 2 and 3).

Class 1 (£48 per team)

Team Show Jumping

(entries in advance using the attached form, please)

Teams of 3 or 4 members – any age for any section.

Three best scores to count.

1 member to jump 1’9” + 2’

1 member to jump 2’ + 2’3”

1 member to jump 2’3” + 2’ 6”

1 member to jump 2’ 6” + 2’ 9”

Rosettes to 10th place.

Class 2 (£12)

(entries on the day - first four to qualify for Area Competition)

Dengie Debut Preliminary Round (0.80m)

Class 3 (£12)

(entries on the day - first four to qualify for Area Competition)

Dengie Winter League Preliminary Round (0.90m)

Classes 2 and 3 will be judged under The Pony Club Show Jumping Rule Book except

where variations occur in The Debut and Winter League Show Jumping Rules.

  • All competitors to jump 2 rounds
  • Second round to be timed. In the event of a tie the timings for the counting scores from the 2nd round
  • will be used to decide final placings.
  • No competitor may ride more than one horse/pony in the same team but may ride a different horse/pony

in a maximum of two teams.

  • Each horse/pony may only compete once in Class 1.
  • Final declarations on the day 30 minutes prior to competition.
  • If a team of three is entered one rider must jump top height of 2’6 – 2’9

  • It is the responsibility of the rider / parents / accompanying adults to ensure compliance with the Pony Club Show Jumping Rules and The Debut and Winter League Show Jumping Rules, including those concerned with eligibility.Both Rule Books are on the Pony Club website.
