Essay:
Using your notes from The Mighty to write a 1½ -2 page paper about how film is used to tell the story of Kevin and Max. Write in essay form. Use paragraphs and correct punctuation. Use descriptive words and site examples of shots and angles that enhance and add to our understanding of the boys. Be sure to include the following points in your paper:
· A brief synopsis of the theme of the movie. One paragraph that summarizes the movie.
· From whose Point of view is the film told? Write about how this Point of View is conveyed. (How do we know it is from this POV?)
· A detailed description of each boy’s personality.
· Describe each boy’s strengths and weaknesses. How are they similar? How are they different?
· What are their families like?
· How do they think of themselves? How do others think of them? Does this change? If so, how? Write details about the changes. Use examples of shots and/or angles.
· How does their relationship change, evolve and grow.
