ISW 2005 Guide and Information for Exhibitors
Information Storage Week 2005(ISW 2005), which succeeds previous DISKCON Japan, is a consolidated events of data storage industry. ISW includes “Products and Technology Exhibition”, “International Disk Forum”, “Standard Chairpersons Committee” and other events. Many of key persons in the storage industry will visit the ISW.

Exhibitors at ISW exhibition are honored with “sponsors”, and they are given space where sponsors’ products and technologies are exhibited. By synergy effect of other ISW events, many guests who are mostly key persons in the industry are expected to visit ISW exhibition. ISW exhibition is a very attractive to the visitors because they can look and feel many new technologies and products demonstrations.

IDEMA International BOD /Executive Committee meeting, will be held in the afternoon of Monday, June 6.

General Assembly and Technical Session of Storage Research Consortium (SRC), which has close relation with IDEMA Japan, will be held in ISW period.

General Discussions on Standardization issue will be held with participation of Chairpersons of Technical (Standard) Committee. (IDEMA Members only)

・ Basic structure of booth (Back panel and side panel) is included in the fee.

< Standard booth structure >
(1) Specifications and way of attaching panels
Ø System panel of the booth consists of;
White panel, Aluminum pole, and Aluminum beam.
Ø No nails, pins and wallpapers can be used.
Ø Explanatory panels and posters can be attached as shown in the following figures.
Ø Lightweight panels: Specified Magic tapes can be used.
Ø Heavyweight panels: Specified chain and S shaped hock can be used.

(1) Power source for exhibits and fluorescent light are optional. Basic cost of power construction is 10,000 yen per 1kw power. Refer option list for more details.

ISW provides opportunities of presentations by exhibitors.

Time: 10:00am – 5:00pm, 50 minutes per one presentation
Fee: 80,000 yen per 50 minutes
Total 12 presentations are available for two days
Application: Fill the necessary items in attached application form and send it to IDEMA Japan office.

Ø Exhibitors company logo will be displayed at the reception desk.
Ø 200 sheets of ISW invitation cards will be presented. Additional cards are available on request.
Ø Introductions of exhibitors (sponsors) companies and their homepages will be linked in the ISW Guide of IDEMA Japan Homepage.
Ø Exhibitors company names or logos will be attached in the forum proceedings and other brochures.
Ø Exhibitors can use room (TBD) for business discussion with customers and prospects. Free coffee service is available.
