2015-2016 Health Classes
Grades 5-8
Students will continue to have lessons in Health Education to meet North Carolina Essential Standards. I will continue to spread the 10 lessons of Health throughout the school year to allow greater flexibility.
Below you will find the topics that will be covered during the lessons of health for each grade level. You may feel that some of the topics being covered are sensitive in nature and something you would prefer your child to not sit through. If this is the case, please complete the attached form and send it into school with your child addressed to Matt Chambers, Physical Education and Health Teacher. Your child will be placed in another classroom at the time of the lesson and will be given other work to complete during that time.
If you are happy with the units to be covered, you do not need to fill out or return anything.
