Diamond Resorts International® has designed an Internship Program that gives students an opportunity to enhance their education with career-related experience. The program helps prepare students to work effectively in the business world. Gaining hands-on work experience also helps students make career choices, which will result in higher job satisfaction and higher productivity. Our program is structured, and the assignments provide learning objectives that give students the opportunity to gain practical work in their chosen career field.

Overview: Marketing Intern
The marketing intern will work closely with the Director of National Marketing to provide
insight and analysis of business trends within the marketing area. The intern will receive substantial guidance but will also have the opportunity to provide independent perspective and solutions for market strategy.
The marketing intern will prepare marketing reports and conduct database research. In addition, they will be reviewing detail, trends and operations for process improvements.
The marketing intern should be capable of initiating and maintaining strong personal relationships. In addition, he/she should be able to coordinate with all the departments involved to ensure the completion of the associated marketing programs. A high degree of organization and self-motivation is required.
Qualifications
One (1) to three (3) years experience in a related field a plus
Good problem solving skills
Knowledge of computers, standard office equipment
Be able to enter and verify data and work with various software applications
Be majoring in marketing or business and returning to your academic program following your intern assignment.
Open to first-year MBA students with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5.
Demonstrated coursework in marketing a plus.
Overview: Financial Services Intern
To prepare college students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the functions of a financial services company within the hospitality industry. The main responsibility of the financial intern is to follow the auditing and accounting process and work under the supervision of the financial services division management. They must enter the information in the company financial accounting system. It is the role of the financial intern to understand, verify, collect, process and report accounting related information. They must be able to manage the specialized reports, information, forms dealing with billing, and fees tracking. The financial intern will be given management support and professional analytical work assignments. They must be able to utilize and develop databases, spreadsheets and other computer applications. They must assist to prepare weekly and monthly financial reports.

They must have good math skills.
They must have good problem solving, knowledge of computers, standard office equipment, entering and verifying data and various software applications skills.
They must have good knowledge of the basic practices and principles of accounting and financial analysis.
They should have good oral and written communication skills.
They must be able to evaluate, collect and interpret in both statistical and narrative form.
They should be able to maintain and prepare files, records and documentation.
