Food Vendor Application

Panhandle Productions Limited Partnership (‘PPLP’), owner and operator of the Big Valley Jamboree ’BVJ’is currently accepting applications for the 2013 event. The Festival attracts over 80,000 people each year. Our goal is to present ourfestival-goers with highly qualified, diverse and efficient food vendors. If you would like to beconsidered as a food vendor for the 2013 BVJ, please complete the attached application andsubmit the following materials:

A completed and signed application
At least one current photograph of your booth or trailer.*new vendors only*
A copy of your certificate of insurance.
Deposit payment of 50% of contract price*upon acceptance*
Valid Visa or MasterCard number with expiry date.
Read and understand the 2012 Vendor Guidelines
A valid Food Handling Certificate

Food vendor booths must remain open for the duration of BVJ. BVJ goes on rainor shine and all vendorsare expected to be open during the hours listedunless they are notified by Festival personnel.

I understand that the producers of PPLP will determine my booth's location.
I have read the Vendor Guidelines and agree to abide by them.
I understand that PPLP makes no sales guarantees.

This application must be filled out in full by new and returning vendors. Incomplete applications will not be considered. This application is not an offer or guarantee of space.

In order to provide you with sufficient electrical service, it is important that youlist all equipment that you will be using that requires electricity. The BVJ will not guarantee electrical services beyond which is ordered in the Superior Show Service order form provided with your contract.

Booth Sketch

This information is needed to determine proper placement of your booth.

Please provide a “birds-eye” view of your booth layout. Including all of the following:

  • Location of Pepsi Cooler (if ordered), cooking area(s), freezer(s), refrigerator(s), hand wash sink(s) and propane tanks.
  • All elements of your booth: tent(s), trailer tongues, where you will be serving food from, anythingyou plan on placing in front of your booth, etc.

Everything included for your vendor operations must be included in your sketch. If you are selected as a foodvendor, you must operate within the confines of the dimensions indicated.

Order Form

Please use corner to corner footage, do not add your hitch or awnings to this square footage. If accepted as a vendor a 50% non refundable deposit is required payable by credit card, certified cheque or money order.

Risk and Liability

I, the undersigned, hereby release and agree to hold harmless PPLP, its officers, directors, licensees, agents and employees from any damage to my property or any personal injury which I or my helpers may sustain while participating in the BVJ on August 1,2,3,4 2013. Further, I agree to abide by the guidelines for participation, as listed in the Vendor Guidelines and all policies and guidelines developed by the BVJ planning committee. Iunderstand that failure to follow these regulations can mean expulsion from this year’s or future festivals.
