LMETB’s Adult Education Centre in King St, Drogheda is currently recruiting for its autumn programme.

Full-time Opportunities VTOS ( 3 options available) / Part-time Opportunities BTEI ( 4 options available)
1)Leaving Certificate: 9-3pm daily. Subjects offered include: English, Maths, History, Geography, Art, Business, Accounting and Computers. Applicants should ideally have a Junior Certificate or equivalent.
2)Liberal Arts QQI Level 5: 9-1pm daily. Subjects covered include: Psychology, Sociology, Research and Study Skills, Communications, Politics, Economics, Word Processing and Personal and Professional Development. Applicants should have a Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
3)General Studies QQI Level 3: 9 –2pm daily. Subjects offered include: Communications, Maths, Managing Personal Finance, Office Procedures, Personal Development and Leaving Certificate History.
Each optionlasts one year.To be eligible for the full-time courses you must have been signing on the live register for at least 6 months on entry.

Subjects offered include: English, Maths, History, Art, Business, Geography, Irish and Biology. Applicants should ideally have a Junior Certificate or equivalent.
2)Youth/Community Work Modules QQI Level 5: Attendance will be 3 hours per week for 10 weeks.
3)Back to Learning QQI Level 4: Attendance may be 10-12 hours per week over one year. Subjects offered include Communication/English Skills, Useful Maths Skills, IT, Career Planning and Teamworking. This course is a good preparation for Post-Leaving Certificate courses.
4)Learning for Everyday Life QQI Level 3: Attendance may be 6-8 hours per week over one year. Subjects offered include Communication/English Skills, IT, Personal Effectiveness and Practical Maths Skills. This course is ideal as a first step back into education.
BTEI classes are available to anyone. Priority is given to those whose education is below Leaving Certificate (or equivalent) level.
