CFM Refresher with CFM Exam

This two day refresher study workshop is for those preparing to take the CFM Exam, and should supplement a solid base of experience in the field of floodplain management, reading, and self study methods in preparation to take the National CFM exam. This workshop is not a replacement for studying.Participants should not expect to complete this workshop and pass the CFM Exam without additional study. This workshop is targeted at seasoned professionalswho have read FEMA 480 and have studied the materials on the CFM® Exam Prep guide from ASFPM's website prior to attending.
After the two day workshop, the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM) Certified Floodplain Managers (CFM) exam will be offered. The exam will be offered on Friday, July 12th, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 12 Noon.

Directions to Class:From I-75 take exit 101 towards Marco Island, go approximately 4 miles until you pass Rattlesnake Hammock Rd. on your right – take the next right turn onto Lely Cultural Parkway. Go 1/2 mile on Lely Cultural Parkway and turn right into the Collier County ESC complex (there is a library in front). Proceed to the gate and if it is not open follow the instruction on the security kiosk to gain entry – please park in any unmarked parking space.

Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) Examination
After the CFM Refresher Course, on Friday July 12, 2013from 9 am to 12 noon,the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM) Certified Floodplain Managers (CFM) exam will be offered. (The CFM Refresher is not intended to teach the exam.)

In order to be considered to take the Certified Floodplain Managers Exam on Friday, July 12th, 2013 you must submit a separate application along with the appropriate fee to:

In order to take the exam, you must complete the application for the CFM Program which is available on the ASFPM website certification. You may fill out the ASFPM individual application as well and submit for membership at the same time as applying for the exam.
