The Kent County Council, in exercise of their powers and under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1) and (2), 32(1), 35(1), 44, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act hereby propose to make the following Order:-
The Kent County Council (The District of Shepway, Various Roads) (Restrictions and Prohibitions of Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Consolidation (Amendment No 17) Order 2014shall be amended as follows:
Roads in Lyddin the District of Shepway
No waiting at any time
The following items to be added in the correct alphabetical sequence:
The Parade, on the east side of the road:
- From a point 52m north of its junction with Derville Road for a distance of 36m in a northerly direction.
- From a point 118m north of its junction with Derville Road for a distance of 36m in a northerly direction.
- From a point 303m north of its junction with Derville Road for a distance of 36m in a northerly direction.
- From a point 461m north of its junction with Derville Road for a distance of 36m in a northerly direction.
- From a point 533m north of its junction with Derville Road for a distance of 36m in a northerly direction.
- From a point 605m north of its junction with Derville Road for a distance of 33m in a northerly direction.
- From a point 61m south of its junction with Derville Road for a distance of 36m in a southerly direction.
- From a point 133m south of its junction with Derville Road for a distance of 36m in a southerly direction.
- From a point 205m south of its junction with Derville Road for a distance of 36m in a southerly direction.
- From a point 375m south of its junction with Derville Road for a distance of 36m in a southerly direction.
Coast Drive, on the east side of the road:
- From a point 17m north of its junction with Hull Road for a distance of 25m in a northerly direction.
- From a point 14m south of its junction with Hull Road for a distance of 15m in a southerly direction.

This Order shall come into force on XXth day of Xxxx 2014 and may be cited as The Kent County Council (The District of Shepway, Various Roads) (Restrictions and Prohibitions of Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Consolidation (Amendment No 17) Order 2014

Kent County Council Highways and Transportation proposes to make the above named Traffic Regulation Order in the interest of facilitating the passage of vehicular traffic on the road and improving road safety.
The effect of this Order will be to introduce a prohibition of waiting at any time (double yellow lines) on the following lengths:
Lydd: The Parade, on the east side of the road:
- From a point 52m north of its junction with Derville Road for a distance of 36m in a northerly direction.
- From a point 118m north of its junction with Derville Road for a distance of 36m in a northerly direction.
- From a point 303m north of its junction with Derville Road for a distance of 36m in a northerly direction.
